I hear JetBlue is pretty cheap to Florida. Or if you're not too picky about what time you fly, try Priceline, Hotwire, or CheapTickets. Good luck!

I was going to also suggest Priceline (but you have to be willing to be flexible on time of travel and if you can deal with connecting flights)
Also CheapTickets.com.

My friend JUST booked Delta to FL. a few minutes ago. She has a job interview there tomorrow morning! She said it was like $140 round trip.

def. try Jetblue - I think they are considered the cheapest for last minute travel.
I just checked for you and you can get down there today for $179, the return was cheaper.
Jetblue is also good because you can change your ticket for $25.
also if you prefer another airline you can cash in your miles...

My friend said Jetblue was $240 cause it was last minute. You can try though.

Also check out the St. Pete/Clearwater airport, there may be a less expensive airline that flies into there too...

I am sorry to hear that about your grandmother try priceline and tell them your situation and maybe they can get you a flight as soon a possible. my grandmother had that fluid in the lungs but she also had altimzers too. I am going to pray for a fast recovery for your gram. I lost my grams in may. I will pray for you and your family for your grams, god bless everyone.

I am sorry about your grandmother.
Check Southwest airlines...they fly out of Islip to Tampa. My uncle gets crazy cheap rates that way.
Site59.com has last minute travel fares as well.
