I am getting married June of 2012, and getting a degree May of 2012. Will my maiden name always be on my degree?

I'm sure you can request to have it your new last name if you want. Mine will be my married name-- I am graduating after I'm married

i graduated in may 2010 so my last name is on there
i think you can get it changed over time if you want to but you obviously dont have to
if you have certifications (e.g. teaching, law, medical, etc.) they i believe you haev to have those changed after your official name change

yes-- i am a teacher and my degree and certifications are in my current last name, when i get married and go through the whole name change i will have them changed on my certificate.

I'm graduating in Jan and getting married in Jan and the MBA will be in my maiden name... I don't know if I feel like changing that in addition to everything else I have to chance once I get married.. you can do it if it's important to you, but I'm not sure what the process is or how much it would be...

IMO, it should have your maiden name...One never knows what the future holds. Sorry I am being so fatalistic at such a wondeful time of our lives.

yea my BA and MBA degrees are in my maiden name and when we get married i wont change them over.
