Last Night.....

FH took me to The Melting Pot for dinner Let me just say......WOW.

We had planned to go to IHOP for the free pancakes, but by the time he got home from work it was after 9. We called and they said they were closed because they normally close at 10 and already had a 40 MINUTE WAIT LIST! AT IHOP!

So instead, FH called the Melting Pot to see if they had any seats open. They did, so we went. It was incredible. I walked out of there telling him we could never go again because it was just too good. I believe it is the actual definition of 'gluttony.' Anyhow, when I asked him why we were going to such an expensive meal (over $100), he just said 'well we don't go out for nice dinners often and you're worth it' Then he proceeded to tell me that it's our post-Valentine's day dinner, since we really didn't do much on V-day b/c it was the night before our e-party.

So for any of you ladies looking for a romantic night out with FH that's different than the norm and a little nicer than the usual everyday dinner, I definitely recommend the Melting Pot. We had such a great time, the wait staff was wonderful, and the food was out of this world!

ITA I went there not to long ago with FH, my cousing and her FH. We had such a great time and it was soooo DELISH! great atmosphere and the service was great too...

make sure to try the Yin Yang Martini, I got it with desert OMG so good! it was like a spiked delicious milkshake

I had the Caramel Apple Martini. It was amazing. FH had the Pineapple Upside Down Martini. And last night was 'Tini Tuesday' so all of the martinis were only $5. It's a good thing I had to work today and it stopped me at having just one, because I couldn't taste the alcohol at all. Those could've been dangerous.

We went there on Valentine's Day. My favorite was by far the desert. Honestly, you could just go there for the desert and its totally worth it.

When I went I had the 'Love' Martini...it was amazing- so delicious!!

Wish my FH had the same reaction to the dinner.
He was like, WHAT?!? How much and I had to cook my own food??? The charm of the whole experience was lost on him. But, he did admit to loving the food (again reminding me that he had to 'cook' it) and would trust me if there ever was a next time, not to order so much of it so that he could really enjoy the dessert fondue.

That's so funny that he kept going on about 'cooking' his own food. We've already said that the next time we go, we're just going for cheese and chocolate. Unfortunately by the time we got to the chocolate, we were so full. Don't get me wrong, we still ate it......but we were full

went there a few weeks back for first time. MMMMMM....definately wanting to go back for the dessert. we got dark chocolate with chambord. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
