Last Song

What us everyone using as their last song of the night?
Should it be upbeat?

I really like 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' Hawaiian version. Love the movie and the song. I also like that since we are going on our honeymoon to Hawaii it ties in. My only hesitation is it might be to slow of a last dance song. Thoughts?

Use whatever you'd like!! People will be saying goodbye to you so you won't really get to hear it anyway.

I used 'Closing Time' by Semisonic because they were my favorite band in middle school and high school, and the song was appropriate :)

We are doing 'Don't Stop Believing' by Journey for our last song since it has so much meaning to us from college. We think it's a good note to end on! ...and sandr, I love the idea of the hawaiian version of somewhere over the rainbow! Great idea!

I love the idea of the Somewhere over the Rainbow! So sweet! I don't even know what song we are be announced in to yet let alone my last song lol.. I feel very far behind!

I didn't know what to use either, but our DJ thought it should be something upbeat. I do agree everyone is saying goodbye at that point so it won't matter, so we left it up to him.

I haven't meet with my DJ yet, but now I am debating making it the first song during the dinner course. These little decisions are driving me crazy

I'm a bit biased, but I love 'Over the rainbow'

My fiance' wants to do The Beatle's 'All you need is love' as our last song since that is an 'on-going' trend for our wedding haha (on our Channa plaque, etc.) and we both looooove The Beatles.

We're using 'We Are Young' by Fun. So many people can't stand it but by then it won't be so in your face. I think it's so fun, kind of an epic sendoff lol.

lol....I like the song and FH doesn't.

This was making me nuts too! If you love the song, I would ask for it during dinner so you can enjoy it.
I was so relieved to hear the DJ say he suggests the last song be 'DJ's choice'. I was like Yess!!! You just pick lol I won't even remember what song it was.

I love some where over the rainbow. That version always reminds me of ER when Dr. Green passes away, such a moving scene.

I have no idea what to use! I went to a friend's wedding this past December and she did ' All I Want for Christmas is You,' which I thought was really cute, but she'll be at my wedding so I can't copy!

I might do something else Christmas-y.

Whatever the last song in the movie the holiday is. I LOVE that movie, but I can never remember what song it is! I always think it's 'This Will Be (an everlasting love)'...but it's not!
