That is so awful!!!

My BF had a GM drop out the DAY BEFORE. He just called and left a message on her DH's cell - sorry man, can't make your wedding, have fun. She was so upset. But, we said hey- focus on what's important here. You're marrying a great guy! So, we fit one of our high school friends in this guy's tux (which had already been picked up) with some safety pins. And, because she had programs all ready, too, she put a framed sign on the program table saying something like 'the part of groomsman bob smith will be played today by joe james.' It was cute, and no one really noticed. Maybe you could do that too. I hope that helps. I feel bad for you and worse for your FH - that's just a terrible friend.
