late Responds

Have you girls had some late responds? I have about 11 more responds to wait for. The deadline was yesterday. When I called the RH and told her how much more I was still waiting for she said the number was really good.

How far along after the deadline did you still get last minute responds?

i called 3 people to follow up .. 8 were just crossed out .. i m not chasing u down to be a guest ...

My RSVP was May 4, my wedding is June 2 and I got a 'no' responce yesterday. I am still missing 3 that the people still 'aren't sure' Heeelllllloooooo, you have had your invite since the end of March, you have known about the date since Christmas when I sent out STD's, not to mention you are FAMILY, but whatever.

I am calling them Saturday if I haven't heard from them by then and telling them not to bother.

my wedding is next Saturday & I received an RSVP TODAY!!!!! My RSVP date was 2-3 weeks ago. So annoying.

we had a really early RSVP date (3/30) and STILL have one out there w/o a response

I had to call my cousin last week to confirm his family was attending... and that's when I found out that his 3 kids and wife aren't coming! that's 1/2 a table! I had to reorganize the seating, and redo some placecards after that....

MY FEELING EXACTLY...I DONT HAVE THE TIME NOR THE ENERGY...I HAVE TO HAVE EVERYTHING 2 WKS BEFORE THE DATE SO FOR THOSE THAT HAVENT RESPONDED BY THURSDAY THE 7TH OF JUNE TOO BAD AND THEY BETTER NOT SHOW UP SINCE THERE WILL BE NO SEATS FOR THEM AND I WILL NOT MAKE ANY EXCEPTIONS....MONEY IS NOT A GAME!!!!!

I guess I dont feel that bad, some of you girls have it worse than what I do, Im waiting for 19 people like 9 responses, since I got like 4 today

Its all basically my father's side. Im going to have to give my father his list and he can call them this weekend.

I havent had some late responses ive had MANY late responses lol. Its increidibly annoying

I am all done, RSVP deadline was the last day of April, but I did call the other ones with the Exception of one guy, who I didnt want to come to the wedding and was so upset FH wanted to invite him as he is a drunk and always rude and only cares about himself. Its all about him, get this, he call us 24 days after the RSVP deadline and leaves us a message saying by the way, we will be at your wedding, please excuse my late response, I have some things going on with my brother, which is all alie. Well FH told me to call him, I did, got the answering machine and kindly stated, unfortunately you responded three weeks too late, if it was 1-6 days we would understand, but at this point we have finalized our final count two weeks ago and we are sorry to say that you wont be able to take part in our Wedding Celebration, what nerve he has. FH was furious, the only reason he did not respond was he likes attention and was waiting for FH and me to call him to see if they were coming, do the right thing for once, he is such a loser this man, we made sure we didnt call to see what he would do, .... So now our friends said he is sooooo pissed that wont be attending our wedding. Someone above is watching over us, he dosent deserve to come to our wedding. So now other friends say he feels so left out, give me a break, enough is enough right girls. Im thrilled, we did the right thing, and because he was rude, he suffers, he is married, she could have responded. Things happen for a reason, now the bride and groom can enjoy there special day without any nonsense, Wahooooo

I'm still waiting for 12 responds & my deadline was almost three weeks ago. Yesterday in the mail we rcvd 4 more yes replies. I was hoping for no's at this point

This has been the most stressful part of this whole wedding planning phase of my life. I can't stand it.

I agree with you all that it is so rude not to respond on time! My FSIL is famous for this, so I am not expecting her card anytime soon, lol! Friends have called me to find out if she was coming to their weddings because she never sends the cards back!!! How hard is it to write your name, check a box and drop it in a mailbox??? It's already got a freaking stamp on it!!! OK, venting over
