Just checking in....

Im working on Programs, Rehearsal Dinner invitations, getting shoes & undergarments for dress, finishing BM gifts and a bunch of little stuff. I just mailed the invites yesterday so that was a huge todo off the list.

Hopefully, we are getting married in that type frame!! Haven't done much, everything is on hold and just trying to be patient

I am working on favors, design of table numbers, favors/decorations for the hall, place cards, shoes, makeup trial, and getting in touch with my DJ (have a follow- up appt. next Tuesday) and Reverand...hmmm, let's see, BM/GM/MOB gifts..that is all I think of right now....am I on schedule with the rest of you? We are getting married 10/13.

I sent my invites out yesterday, first fitting is end of August. Just booked Rehearsal dinner, and I am meeting with the florist on Thursday to pick my flowers. Next Friday were getting the wedding license. Other than than that things are going smoothly. Just started fixing up our apartment.

Just got back form getting marriage licence. You can do it up to 60 days in advance, but not less than 24 hrs.
Still working on programs, favors, vowes, make up trial, 2nd fitting, hair trial, seating arrangement...
I'm sure there is more.
FH still needs to do tux and groomsmen gifts!!

We got alot done. Invites are out, rings ordered, HM booked. We have to get our lic. I have to do my fittings and undergarments. Print my programs, wrap my favors and fill the rice tubes. Other then shell out all the money were good to go

Well I'm trying to finish up the directions cards and the calligrapher is just finishing up the invites so they should be going out any day now. I have my first fitting scheduled for the end of Aug. and once that is done I need to get my shoes died (ivory). I know what I will be getting for my BM's, I just need to go out and buy it and FH is working on his GM gifts. I think we have finally decided on favors so I need to purchase them. Then I need to work on our programs.

There is a lot that I can't finalize until I visit NY in the begining of Sept. (flowers, cake, hair, make-up etc.). I can't wait until that trip, it will be a huge weight off my shoulders.

I'm sure there is something I'm forgetting.
Oh, does anybody know if you need to get the marrage license a certain number of days before the wedding? Is 3 days before enough time?

Well, I'm going for my first fitting next week, and getting our marriage license next Tuesday.

BM gifts are done, FH did groomsman gifts, all vendors are done, invites are out, wedding rings ordered...

I need to wrap my favors and do the seating arrangements but I have a while for that since I still have a month for my response date.

It feels weird saying 'That's it'. I'm sure I'm forgetting something! I'm not doing RD invites...it's all immediate family and the guys will get word of mouth invites. They all know when and where...

2 months from today!

Working on Rehearsal Dinner location and invitations, music for the ceremony, vows, wedding bands are ordered, getting the marraige liscence a week before, finalizing honeymoon, inviations are out and getting responses (but not quickly enough!), hmmm... I know there are a million things I need to do but I'm all over the place... yikes, I can't believe how soon it is!!!

it's frightening how much left I have to do!

Off the top of my head I still need to:
* wrap my favors (and possibly order more!)
*send out RD invites
* meet with all vendors this month and finalize details
*buy undergarments for dress
*get BMs shoes dyed
*order GM gifts (FH isn't cooperative!)
*choose first dance song!
*have make up trial next week
*Send song list to DJ and string quartet
*order parent's gifts
*print out table names
*decide on menu
*schedule dress fittings
*finalize program after meeting with reverend
*seating chart - So NOT looking forward to that!!
*Pay everyone

MRS2BE, yes 2 months from today for us, I can't believe it! It sounds like tomorrow when I say that. I just made a TO DO list with about 15 things on it!!!

Sept 21st here... My list so far is:

* finish wrapping the favors
* get shoes dyed
* get coset altered
* choose wedding flowers (this Saturday)
* Get MOB & MOG gift engraved
* Wrap wedding party & parent gifts
* Send Rehearsal dinner invites
* Write Shower Thank yous / ship favors to those who sent a gift & didn't come (Ugh!)
* Marriage license

After that, it's a lot of calling to confirm vendors, appointments, etc...

- Make menus (menu itself already selected)
- Programs (my stepmom is doing those for me)
- Decorate favor boxes
- Table arrangements
- Finish bagging up lavender buds (for tossing)
- Finalize arrangements with florist
- Dress fittings (1st one is tonight!)
- Finalize rehearsal dinner plans
- Hair/makeup trials
- Limo arrangements
Am I forgetting anything? Making this list just totally stressed me out!!

I STILL need to
-go for my fitting, hair and make-up trial, although I have no idea who I am doing any of those things with!
-pick out parent and readers gifts
-pick a place for RD
-pick readings
-finalize flowers
-DO PROGRAMS - this one is killing me!
-make gift bags for hotel guests
-and that's all I can think about right now because I'm getting stressed!!!! less than 60 days to go!!!!
