Need you help fellow Latina's. I am new to Long Island and just moved to Carle Place and I need to find a hair dresser. I have curly hair, I'm sure you guys know how that is. Any suggestions?

I am taking on my future husbands name though I am debating hyphenating.
you are not alone...i took DH's name...even though i didn't want to. lol but you know how sometimes even the most liberal man...the machismo can come out a little bit...this week all my CC's have been coming with my new name and i have to still go to social security!

Okay two questions for my latinas:
1 - Music: our dj is bilingual and latino (whew!..he better be on time! hee hee), anyway, but I still wanted to give him a list of classic salsa & merengue songs that we love and get pple on the dance floor (e.g. lloraras by oscar d'leon, etc..), does anyone have a list already that they can share?
2 - I have my doctorate (yay!), but now I'm getting married...so I'm thinking of carrying both my maiden & his name when we get married, since traditionally that is what our culture does anyway..any thoughts?
By the way, what's your doctorate in?
