Here are some bands for merengue that would be really fast and get the crowd going. I am puerto rican but I dated a domincan for 3 years so it has some credibility lol

There is also a CD of merengue mixes that you can play.

I think it is like Merengue mix 5 that I had a while back still good though.

2 - I have my doctorate (yay!), but now I'm getting married...so I'm thinking of carrying both my maiden & his name when we get married, since traditionally that is what our culture does anyway..any thoughts?

I loove Aventura too... but i feel like their fan base is mainly high school chicks... i stay feeling maaad old when i go their 'concerts'

im taking Anthony's last name

in my personal opinion, (again just mine, i applaud girls who keep their own name), i want all of us (me, my husband, my future kids) to have the same last name
i like the uniformity.

Also, a last name doesnt define who I am. Losing my maiden name will not mean Im no longer a Y****. My actions, my personality, the legacy i leave, my blood, makes me me. And that is a kick *** person

do it, unless your new name is 23 letter long

i'm adding FH's last name....but not officially until i finish my doctorate. I'm working on my thesis now.
it's going to be a loooooong name, but oh well! it's just for professional reasons. for social things, i'll be mrs. V.

I'll be hyphenating...although I get a lot of lip from his family and FH about that. Everywhere we go, we get told to hyphenate so maybe he'll relax a little more....but he's really stressing me about taking his last name...I REFUSE to sell out!!!! I have my own identity...LOL
