Okay two questions for my latinas:

1 - Music: our dj is bilingual and latino (whew!..he better be on time! hee hee), anyway, but I still wanted to give him a list of classic salsa & merengue songs that we love and get pple on the dance floor (e.g. lloraras by oscar d'leon, etc..), does anyone have a list already that they can share?

2 - I have my doctorate (yay!), but now I'm getting married...so I'm thinking of carrying both my maiden & his name when we get married, since traditionally that is what our culture does anyway..any thoughts?

If our last names weren't so damn long, I too would do the same. Add his name to my maiden name....but they're too long. So I'm not taking his name! LOL! Me va matar!

Hi MellyAngel! One of us should compose the list that you're talking about, it's been brought up alot. I'll try to see if we can work on that for you.

As for the name change, I've always been a big fan of how tradition has us carry our two last names. I say go for it!

Hi 08er crashing again. I'd like to start this list as FH and I are about to do that. Although the Dj seems to have good music thus far. What about making a list of DJ's that specialize in latin music too.

I'm working on it. I need to stay up to speed, or I'm slower than the music. Fh is a GREAT dancer so are his sisters
