Has anyone ever seen or is doing a lavendar or similar toss instead of roses, bird seeds, etc.? If so, what are some packaging options?

I am doing lavender buds and plan to just have a big basket filled with it and have my wedding coordinator pass it around while we are on the recieving line. Seems easier than making bags or cones to hold it in. But if you wanted, organza bags are inexpensive and would hold enough for a toss.
