John saw an article/ad on this and it looked like one of those 'LOSE A MILLION POUNDS IN A DAY' Too Good to Be TRue! Type of ads, but winds up that a friend of his at work has it and LOVES IT.
You put the seeds in your lawn and it grows into thick and gorgeous grass. But it takes time..

Im not a big fan of the way it looks. It is supposed to be very durable though.

My neighbor had it when I lived in Elmont (I was 7 when we moved) and I remember him burning his lawn every spring. It smelled but the result was beautiful!
My neighbor now has it in his bac yard and although its a thick, green, beautiful lawn, in the winter and fall it's so dead looking- like whiteish. It looks really funny.

It is very durable...but hard to contain, it overgrows everything, literally choking it.

We had it at our previous house. Very short season, looks good for about 3 months, looks terrible rest of year. Spreads fast, if your neighbor has it, you will probably end up with some. Very good disease-resistant grass if that's what you want. For looks, i'd get something different.

when i was younger my dad switched to that grass... terrible the rest of the year is right.. the grass is OFF WHITE looking for the rest of the year.. in my opinion when i come to my house it looks weird, durring the rest of the year everyones grass is regular color, and then were like the only people on the block with the weird grass

Anna, my cousin has this grass, and OMG I LOVE it.. it really feels like your walking on a carpet,. its soooo soft.. i love it.. but it does die quickly.. But frank and I are thinking about getting it..
