I wish I had an extra $5000-6000 laying around to squeeze into the budget. I need Pennylane to be my videographers.
Right now I have $0 budget for video so at this point I'm just praying for some kind of jackpot!
That was just a vent/sob. Sorry.
ETA: I should add that I also LOVE NYFilmworks, and it seems they are even more $$ for what I'd want. They may be a bit more flexible though so there might be light at the end of the tunnel.

They start at $4500 (says it on their website), for minimal service. Well worth it from what I've seen...but still.
I blew my load on photography already and have like zero room for video unless something remarkable happens over the next year!

I feel ya...I love their work but can not justify spending that much on video alone..that was mostly our entire budget for photo/video

I love Pennylane and am so thankful that we can use them. Photo and video were the two most important things to us.
Ashley your videographer looks awesome!!!!! It looks like he uses some of the same stuff as Adam(Pennylane)!

Thanks! Yea, AJ is awesome. He's a close family friend and his work is amazing. To me, similar to pennylane without that price tag.I'm so excited he's doing my video.

Wow that's a lot! A part of me kinda wishes I'd hit the lotto just so I have enough to afford to get video but it's just not in the budget. The more and more I see wedding video clips, the more I wish we booked one, but I know deep down that we won't really watch it more than the one time after we get it.

Pennylane does some awesome stuff...
I have heard there are similar companies that do just as great, such as Orange Films or JPI, for a little less.

OMG I have the same problem!!
I spend WAYYY above average on my photo, not knowing pennylane existed. It will cost me another $5500 to have adam. Im actually dying over it. Ask heather, I cry about it daily haha. I want him sooooooooooooo bad!!!!!!!!!!!!
Try Wild Rose.. they are slightly less expensive and do a great job. And a 2010 bride posted a video of her friends wedding.. she used Thaler Films. They are fantastic!
