Pray for her...poor girl...and her husband actaully confessed. I hate to say that my feeling was right along with many of you. Its crazy to think (especially now as we are all getting married) that the man who once stood before God and pledged his love and honor til death do they part...could actaully kill you! I just dont get it...having trouble....sure....but how does it get to that point! How does the man you love and want to manrry all of us a sudden change into a murderer?

i dont understand how someone who must have loved you to marry you can also murder you... i might have missed this, but how was she killed anyways? b/c i mean, i dont even think i could shoot a gun at some stranger who's doing the unthinkable let alone attempt to kill someone i love He must have had a few screws loose dont ya think

they are not saying anything anymore as now he has a lawyer so its all lips sealed...we will have to wait and see....I am sure its not going to be good though....they did find her naked body in the woods....

They havnt said. They said they found her naked. Which to me makes it even more disgusting. Not only did u kill the woman you were with but you then had her lay there naked? And, I don't get how the heck the man decided he would just kill the woman hes been with for EIGHT YEARS?

I guess the same way Scott Petersen killed Lacy and his unborn child. Theres obviously something else going on here...
Alot of the reports said she was planning on leaving him. Maybe he found out and it drove him over the edge? Who knows...all I know is, he should never be allowed to see the light of day again.

They just updated the story on 1010wins.com - William Walsh confessed to choking her to death and dumping her body in the woods. He came home from A.C. last weekend and they had a huge fight when she was questioning his infidelity and he ended up killing her. Then he staged the whole car thing and texted himself from her phone when he said that she texted him. So they think she was actually killed on Sunday. This is so horrible. There had to be warning signs...this may have not been the first time he was abusive towards her. I'm from Bethpage so it just makes me sick that this went on in our town.

This is from a news article (fox5.com) I just read.. clearly there were warning signs.. either way what happened happened and its so unbelievably sad
Long before her disappearance and murder, William had been 'very abusive' toward his wife and lied to detectives about his marital problems, the New York Post reported Thursday.
Nassau County police said they arrested Walsh because of inconsistencies in his alibi and his story about what had happened to Leah, sources told the Post.
Leah Walsh was planning to divorce her husband, according to friends.
A neighbor of Leah's parents in Rockville Centre, N.Y., said the couple fought constantly when they lived there.
'I heard him being very abusive to her verbally, cursing,' the neighbor, who asked not to be identified, told the Post. 'Cursing, 'F- - - you!', screaming at the top of his lungs, and she was just very distraught.'
