Leather Furniture HELP!

Hi ladies!

DH and I bought our family room coffee table from Thomasville, the middle is glass, but around the outside of it is about 2-3 inches of leather (real leather) they have a table with faux, but this is different.

Anyway, I noticed the other day that on each side the leather is cracking, DH is FREAKING because I begged him for this table. Anyone now how to go about taking care of leather furniture?? I cannot bare the thought that this table is going to look terrible by next year. We've only had it 4 months

We have leather couches and ottomans-after 5 years, haven't noticed any cracking.

Did the table come with any sort of warranty? Four months seems like an awfully short time to have problems.

I dust the furniture constantly, vacuum under the cushions once a week or so, and every few months use a leather conditioner made for furniture (not sure of the brand name).

Yes 4 months is short, the only thing I'm thinking is that it's flat to the table, no room to stretch (don't know if that makes sense). I will have to check out the warranty, I was sooooo upset to see these cracks. What makes it worse is the money we spent on this thing

Denise, I guess should call Thomasville... our bedroom came with a chip in the footboard and they were there ASAP fixing it! I'm just so upset over this table... Good thing John didn't budge when I said I wanted the sofa table too

I'm sure I have their warranty papers at home. Have to look through all the crap I have! We didn't get an extended warranty if that's what you mean... but I would think after 4 months it's still covered under something, right?

I mean we dont have kids to ruin it, and we're hardly home. We dust the table constantly and keep it clean! I will call them over the weekend!
