Left Behind series readers --

I am up to Book #12 - the Glorious Appearing!! I started the series in October and have been hooked ever since.

Are there any other readers of the series out there?? I always want to chat about it...

well....there is a pastor in a semi-small town in the beginning....the name of the first book is 'Left Behind'

I read about 8 of the 12 books about 3 years ago. I just started reading them all over!! its gonna be my summer reading!!

I'm reading another book by the same author right now, it's called Soon. So far, I am enjoying it.. I am curious about the Left Behind series... what is it about?

ooh i want to know what Soon is about! LOL

The Left Behind Series is about the second coming of Christ.....it begins with half the world's population disappearing and those who were 'left behind' have to endure and try to survive the end of the world. It is the Believers in Christ vs. the followers of the Antichrist. It really hooked me! I read all 12 books in 6 months.

Soon so far seems to be the same premise. Post World War III America trying to cope in a now 'peaceful' world without any religion.

Then there are these cells of Christians foretelling of the second coming.

I got to 5 and was very disappointed.

I stopped. I only read them now when Im in B&N. It's not BAD or anything.. just not worth my money.

Entertainment value is pretty good, but *shrug* it left me behind at the end of each book.
