Leftover wedding cake question - did it go bad?

I feel like a complete idiot. The bridal attendant packed up a layer of cake for us...and I completely forgot about it and never told my mom to put it in the freezer, so it sat in a box with all the other things from the reception for at least a day.

Did it go bad? We still put it in the freezer. It had chocolate mousse and cannoli filling. I have a feeling the cannoli is the deal breaker. I'm so sad.

I know how you feel...we left ours out for our whole 2 week honeymoon...our was rasberry and chocolate moose.....if we get sick when we eat it in a year we know that we shouldn't have eaten it..lol

Oh man, that's rough. Well, I figure it'll probably taste so gross in a year, it won't matter anyway.

Tara don't worry! Maybe it'll be okay! We froze ours for a week and ate it when we got back!

Don't eat it... the cannoli has dairy in it and it could have gone bad. Don't be sad, next year on your yrs anniversary just have a baker make a lil cake for you and your hubby to ear w the same fillings... it's ok...
