legal Marriage / RC Church

Does anyone know If you are allowed to get married in the RC church if you have already been married legally about a year earlier? My best friend wants to get married by JOPthis year and then have a church wedding sometime next year -
she asked if I could find out for her .... I came to the experts .

yes, you can still do it...people come here (to Riverhead T.C. Office) all the time. They have to get a whole new marriage license (this one will be a 'subsequent' license). They take it to the priest/pastor/minister/rabbi and he/she can then marry you. Hope this helped!
