There are facts that future couples need to see. This man has duped couples into signing contracts with him and not providing their services for years.

FACT: My wife and I have been waiting over 2 years for our video from Gary Leli Photo.

FACT: It does not take 2 years to produce a video.

FACT: Gary Leli said on the news he has run out of money.

FACT: There are over 1 dozen couples and more to come that have paid Gary Leli and are waiting for the products that Leli is obligated via contract to produce.

FACT: Public records show outstanding judgements from couples against Leli Photo.

The public deserves to know this.

As someone who booked with Gary in early 2011 because there were no bad reviews posted at the time, I feel it's LIW's resposibility to leave posts like this up. Theese are all substatiated claims and if I had seen something like this I wouldn't now be in the position where my FH are going to loose a $1500.00 deposit we gave to him, that we can't afford to loose.

This is why I am opposed to this website taking down bad reviews. I think when presented with a company that has both good and bad reviews, it's easy to tell if the customer has a legitimate complaint or if they're just being unreasonable. I think it's always better to be presented with both sides.

We are talking thousands and thousands of dollars here, not to mention the priceless memories that can never be reproduced. I think ESPECIALLY when it comes to weddings, it's best to have all the information because it's not like a couch where you can go out and buy another one. You can never have that day back.

wowwww...omgg this is so scary.
I had to cancel with one of my first photographers because of the bad reviews that I found after I booked with them. They changed the name of their company so it was hard to find the reviews on them, after doing some more research I came across allllllll the bad reviews and quickly cancelled. I lost $150 which is not much compared to $1500 but its money lost.

I think this site should leave the good and bad reviews up because it is helpful.

This site is supposed to be helpful to future brides in making decisions about the biggest day of their lives; they should know in advance if they are being screwed over by choosing the wrong vendor; as most of us did. I believe there are almost 35 complaints in total against Leli Photography so hopefully we will see some justice soon. I dont think it's too much to ask to have MY video from MY wedding that I paid for. In order to have everything we wanted at our wedding my husband and I had to get second jobs and work over time just to save up enough money to be able to afford all the things we wanted - including a photographer and a video. How dare people like this steal from us and use our hard earned money for themselves and then claim the Economy! It's our money and you stole it! It's OUR video and we can't have it. This just doesnt make sense. I can not believe that we have to beg for something that we already paid for!!!

I didn't watch the whole story on the news so can someone explain this to me: Why can't he just give the raw footage? He already has the film, how does lack of money stop him from handing over the tapes? I don't get it.

He hired an outside company to do the video and never paid them So they refuse to give up the videos until they get paid.

This story is just awful. This should serve as a warning to all brides out there. Please do not delete this thread. I hope all ladies affected by this jerk get their justice!

This is just so horrible....pictures are the memories from the day and for someone like that to take those away is so sad! I hope LIW does the right thing and allows this thread stay. Good luck to all the couples who are waiting for their product or booked this company and want their money back!

3 more couples have come forward to me... including 1 that just had him shoot their wedding a few months ago. They are already getting the run-around.
