Has anyone tried the lemonade diet? I'm thinking about going on this for a few weeks as i've heard you can be very successful if you stick to it.
Comments? suggestions?

Re: Lemonade Diet
It's a cleansing diet...
I already exercise 3-5 days a week. This would be something to do a month or two before the wedding.

I highly doubt drinking something so acidy so frequently can be good for you.

Re: Lemonade Diet
Sounds like a fad diet to me...unhealthy and counterproductive in the long run.

Re: Lemonade Diet
That sound's like the 'master cleanse'.
Do you just drink some sort of lemonade mixure for 10 days?

Re: Lemonade Diet
You can wind up very sick from that. Stick to healthy eating and exercising. It's a lot more efficient than having to go to the hospital because you are dehydrated or lacking nutrients. If you do not get the appropriate nutrients, your body starts shutting down and your organs can fail. It's very dangerous. STAY AWAY.

I agree. All that sugar can't be good for you either. If you want to shed some extra pounds, minimize carbs or something. Don't deprive yourself of food.

Re: Lemonade Diet
Please be careful with these fad diets... Too many girls damn near starve themselves to death to get a slimmer waistline that just reappears once they go off the diet. Save yourself a lot of headaches and keep doing what you're doing - eat healthy and exercise!

Re: Lemonade Diet
Lemonade has sugar so becareful, it sounds like it might work for a little bit of weight, but it is not something that would last.

Re: Lemonade Diet
It's not real lemonade. From what I've heard, its a mixture of lemon or lime juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper and water.
It's a master cleanse program. From what i've heard, it's actually pretty healthy if done correctly. Obviously, you can't stay on it for a long period of time because the main purpose is to cleanse your system of the toxins...but I was just curious if anyone had done it. I read that Beyoncce and Denise Richards did it (it was on her show too)
