DH and I should really have a more serious chat - we both have a good timeframe but lately I've been thinking about it A LOT! (a lot of women at work are having babies lately, and that's certainly not helping either, but I'd LOVE to buy a house first)

Funny, yes we do have a date, that's b/c of anal me I needed to pinpoint it exactly b/c my baby fever is out of control.
We wanted to buy a house first, but now w/our plans to move to FLorida, the house won't come until we make the move, which will be 3 years probably. I'll be 35 by then, so no waiting for us. We're ready

You are really a LOT like me. Over the weekend, we were having this discussion and even though we know we will start trying next year, I want a date! :) I told DH that we need to plan so we don't have a winter baby. I would like a spring baby. He feels its God's choice when the baby is born. I said, yeah but I have to plan so I won't be in August during my 8th month!~ :)

I hear you on the house - we'll never be 100% ready with our careers, finances, house, etc. at some point, you just have to know in your gut that it's the right time and just go for it!!

Cira - you never know - if James had his way, we'd wait til 2005 too!
I would love to TTC sooner, but I still want a house first, then a dog, and THEN a baby, if at all possible. If all goes as planned, that's still a few years away....I was hoping to TTC in a year.....we'll see
