Leonard's Food Choices

Leonard's Food Choices

Hi gals-
I am a bit concern w/ the amount of food that i will have at cocktail hour (option wise). We initially started off with about 100-120ppl but the list sky rocketed to 160 and out of that- i honestly feel that i will get a good 150 to come..

So wanted to know if anyone has had the Panini at the wedding? i wasnt sure how that would look regarding presentation- but i was trying to shy away from adding the seafood stuff cause i know it would up my plate price and i am trying to stay within a budget..

i went to the food tasting but didnt see the panini there- anyone have any suggestions or opinions..

Hello , When i went to my cousins wedding they did not add any upgrades to the cocktail hour and they had tons of food like TONS. I'm not adding any upgrades because i upgraded my main course to include the 2 extra courses.

honeslty, I have been to weddings there.. the food at the CH is incredible.. like alot! I saw the panini station and it looked great! Not messy or anything.. we arent adding anything extra though... I think we are getting alot of choices for CH at Leonards and we are expecting about 150 to come

Hey, what did the entree upgrade cost you if you dont mind me asking? I was thinking about it.. we already get four good choices, so stuck on if I want to do it or not.. but I think they have this one thats like shrimp or lobster, right? Did you get that one?

R u girls being set up for CH in the middle of the room?

My family is full of greeks and italians and the LAST thing i was to hear is the lack of food- because i will stuff a shrimp down someones throat.>LOL My FH says we will be fine- but the thing is- he zones ppl out- i am the one that sits there and analyzes it OVER and OVER and OVER again..lol

I fell in love with Leonards the second i walked in there- and we happen to be car shopping in the area and just stopped in as a lets just see kinda thing.. We had been shopping around RH for about 6 months and nothing appealed to us.. we ended up buying a car and booking all in one day.. YES I AM CRAZY..lol

We did the same thing.. we fell in love with them and booked lol.. We are Italian and my paretns of of the boat.. and they loved the food.. and its hard to please my parents with Italian food they dont make themselves..

Trust me they serve TONs of food at CH but if you feel the need to add a couple more things, go for it. They have some really nice upgrades. From the wedding Ive been to there, I think its enough food, so we arent adding to the CH but we did add the VH.. i dont think there will be a lack of food though.. dont forget CH is only one hour

I'm going to ask my BM whoever it may be since Maurizio left to set up the food in the middle..lol..

Oh wow you did alot in that one day lol..but at least you were done with two big things in one shot.

I was actually booked at the Swan Club but we decided to change our date and downsize our wedding. I really didnt care for the smaller room so we decided to change venues completely and went with Leonards since my cousin's wife knew most of the BM's there we got a nice deal.

We are both Italian too and FH's family is off the boat and they love Leonard's and they are def really hard to please with food. They have had so many parties their in the past and every time we have been there the food has been excellent and plentiful and we always had a great time. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Re: Leonard's Food Choices

i dont remember what menu i have, but i booked in september 2007, so maybe they have changed the name of it?
i have the 4 choices, i didnt do the upgrade
i have steak, eggplant, salmon and chicken

also, i dont think the CH is set up in the middle of the room. last time i went there they let me peek into my CH room (the empire room) and see a CH hour set up right before a wedding was starting there, and it was along the wall closest to the door.
