less than 60 days...
With 57 days left, I'm looking forward to getting it done. Still much to do. I'll be out of town for business for the next few weeks until 6/21. By the time I get back that day counter will say something in the low 30's left until the wedding. Then the fun will start I'm sure...
It 'showered' last Sunday, a small but intimate shower. My mom put it together but she did not know that one of FH's cousin's kids was having her first communion that same day, another cousin was unable to come due to a death in the family (not FH's family). Regardless,I had a great time and those that couldn't be there still made their wishes of happiness for us known with gifts and cards, even cash! My girls were so generous and put a lot into putting the day together too. One BM made the cake and the wishing well... best cake I've EVER had. I have to get the TYs out before I leave for the trip. Still feels like I went to someone elses shower... can't get over that it was mine. The day did go fast, so I'm taking that as a clue to make sure that I stop and smell the roses and take the time to enjoy the day when it's here.
So I'm not on here much, but felt like contributing... just feeling very at ease with the whole thing. RSVPs are coming back, mostly yes's (last count was 39 yes and 3 no's) no drama about kids, not sure why my MIL gave me such a hard time about her other son's step kids not being invited, they responded yes for 2, never even a phone call to question our reasons. After the wedding my MIL and I will have to have a little chat about unnecessary drama...
I'm just feeling like it's going to be a fabulous day. Not sure if anyone else is feeling very at ease and confident, but I'm realizing it's getting close and everything is going as planned, a few bumps here and there, but it's going to be a great day. Maybe b/c I'm so distracted with work, I have no time to stress about incidentals anymore. Anyway, thought I'd share my soon-to-be-a- MRS feelings of the day.
