Lessings at Vanderbilt

Any brides getting married at Vanderbilt in 2010 and gone to a tasting already?

How did you like the food?

Did you make any/much changes to their menus?
How accommodating were they on that?

i can't speak for the Vanderbilt, but Lessings also owns the library cafe, post-office cafe, etc and I absolutely love the food at those places!

My friend's FSIL who lurks here (HI!!!) is getting married there, maybe she'll see this!

Hey there! I'm the aforementioned lurker I haven't chosen my menu yet but I did have a tasting. We got to try 3 dishes which are the most popular. All 3 were so good that we're going to choose those for the menu. The filet mignon with gorgonzola crust is AWESOME! My tasting was in early September and my mom still talks about the filet mignon lol. I don't think it would be a problem to change anything. Jennifer has been has been very accommodating. When we first met with her, she told us they can do anything we want for the menu.

Jennifer has told me the same things. And I have no reason not to believe her because every bride I've talked to have raved non stop about here. But we are also making some significant changes to the menu. So I really want it confirmed that it's OK before we commit.
