Anyone know anything about Coindre Hall or Bourne Mansion...good bad otherwise...i have appts there this weekend...gotta keep looking b/c we can't make up our minds

There were a few brides that got married there:
Backinnewyork, has a great review...check it out.

I chose the Bourne because it was so different, the high ceilings..not too many have heard about it. I also heard the food was really good there, which is very important to me.
They do 1 wedding at a time, and they have a ceremony location. Its very different. Thats what I was going for. Feel free to FM me with any other question you many have.

I heard the site may have gone up...I am having a Friday Night wedding and the Site fee is $3950...is that what the site fee is for your date too?

yeah its $4K for a friday and $4.5K for sat in 08

They told me $135 Fri pp +18%+tax
Sat $159pp+18%+tax

Yup, I guess it did go up. I couldnt afford a Saturday night...it was way over our budget.

I would look at the Bourne and see if you work something out with the price,,,since the site fee is non negotiable.

My step-sister got married at Bourne Mansion last year and it was awesome! The place and the grounds are gorgeous. I also remember the food being really good too.
I don't know anything about the prices, though.

OH NO WHAT HAPPENED?

I'm getting married at the Bourne, and I picked it as soon as I walked in.

The ballroom and grounds are just so nice (and big). I also search all the boards already for reviews and only found one bad one out of about a dozen.

And it was from a guest who didn't like the steak.

Oh well, mostly everyone I know raves about it so I'm taking my chances.
