For a July 2012 wedding I was quoted 105pp not including tax and gratuity at Coindre Hall. They also do not have a site fee.

Re: Lessing's Mansions???

I'm not sure for the winter months because we knew we wanted a summer wedding so we never asked. I would call and John would be able to give you a quote before you go to see the RH. John is great and we love working with him. He's not always at Coindre Hall so if you call and no one picks up call him at the 3 village inn. When we booked they were giving discounted prices. We wouldn't have been able to book Coindre Hall without the discount.

I was quoted at $99/pp on a Fri night at Vanderbilt, and they have a site fee of $1500 on a Fri night.

How many people do you think will attend? Because we were at 145 and we were ppaacckkkedd out! (But they say the max is 175)

PS - I believe the Bourne Mansion has just dropped their site fee!!!

While the Bourne has dropped their site fee, their price per person has gone up to compensate. I would definitely go in if youre serious. They will work with you and winter months especially!

I actually found the Lessing's locations to be the easiest to get quotes from. I emailed a ton of RHs to find out about pricing before visiting (I'm out of the country and couldn't be bothered to call during NY business hours). The Lessings ones were really good about replying quickly. Try it!

thats too funny because i posted on her other post that they suckeed at getting back to me! i have two guys emailing me and the guy Neil kept writing me back to same exact carbon copy email. I finally wrote back 'you need to give me someone else you knows what they are doing!'

(i was in the same situation where I couldnt really talk to them durin business hours because I was working so email was he best way and no one was in too big of a hurry to price over the email. they only said will you please come in to see me.

tthe prices were a little higher but thats because it is such a gorgeous venue

I had a bunch of venues that either never replied to my email or whose email addresses bounced(?!). In contrast, the Lessings ones tended to reply within a day or so with informative, grammatically-correct emails. Maybe it helped that I told them upfront that we're living abroad and were looking for a RH that could work with us internationally.

i think that since i was inquiring through the info@ email it was just a blanket reply, but i was getting annoyed at the same email being sent.

I finally got a hold of ben and he was very nice and helpful once i told hm i have a crazy work schedule and wouldnt really be able to talk until wknd and didnt want to waste either of our time if it was totallly out of our price range.

And its still not now that they dropped the site fee from the bourne! I would looove to get married there

I got married at West Sayville CC, a Lessing's property. They were great to work with and super affordable. You can see some pics in my album. Guests raved about the location, food, everything.
Steve, the BM there, is very friendly and easy to get a hold of. I know that when I was looking, I was able to call Lessing's properties and get quotes over the phone on the weekend.

I got married at the Bourne this past October and it was beyond amazing. Everything was perfect -- Steve the MD was awesome and had drinks in our hands all night -- forced us to eat -- and had food wrapped up for us

I know this isn't what you asked -- but you really have to talk to the sales guys -- the #'s change if it is fall, winter, spring or summer... friday, sat or sunday... and # of people

People are still raving about our food, decor, and the location! I can't wait to see the pro photos

Im paying $135 a head for bourne but plus the site fee, but I don't think that helps since its all different now that the site fee is gone.

I went to see the Bourne Mansion and for July, Aug 2012 the site fee is still there :(
It's $4,000 for a Friday night
It's $5,000 for a Sat night...

Non-negotiable
