Me and my fiance are seeing each other before the ceremony so we can get photos out of the way so we can enjoy the cocktail hour food. We paid alot of money not to be able to enjoy what everyone else is enjoying.

i'm not, but i have 4 hours between my church and cocktail hour. so we have plenty of time for pics later on

I got married at the RH so we didn't have any time between the ceremony and CH (and there was no way i was missing CH!). So we took pictures prior to the ceremony .... it was fine and we had more time to enjoy ourselves after without posing

we had a private and intimate reveal before the ceremony, captured by only the photog and videog. i am SO glad i made that decision. we just watched our video last night and the emotion from that moment is amazing. it was such an intimate moment, that i have absolutely no regrets about doing it that way.

I think if my wedding was later in the day I may consider it, but since I'm having a day wedding and there is no way we're getting pictures done before the ceremony, I'd rather be traditional and have that look on his face while watching down the aisle.

I want to take pictures before, and not miss our cocktail hour...there's no time in between since we're getting married at the place. So he'll see me!

We were going to....but then we changed our minds. I'm so glad that we did...because I really loved seeing him for the first time that day as I walked down the aisle with my Dad.

It was also fun because we were all staying in the same hotel...just down the hall from each other, so the bridal parties were running interference all morning to keep us away from each other

That being said, I don't think it's bad luck or anything to see each other beforehand.

This is one tradition we will not break. And we ae getting married at the RH .... We extended our cocktail hour so we can make sure we get there and will do just a few full group shots and couple shots after the ceremony. All the separate girls and guy shots will be done before. Its a personal decision..... I think there is more of a wow factor when he sees me walking down the aisle than any staged reveal. Just my opinion!
