Let me know what you think PLEASE

One of my girlfriends getting married this Oct. wants to not give favors instead make a donation in that guest name to the American Cancer Society, in memory of a friend who passed away let me know what you think TIA

great idea!

who doesn't want to help cure cancer? she could give out the cancer bracelets as a favor too - they're relatively inexpensive...

I think its a great idea ...however maybe she should give something small (edible like candy/cookies) as a secondary thing for people to take with them.

i think its a great idea... some favors people end up throwing away. at least that way you know the money you would be spendin gon favors is going to a good cause

I am also doing donations, only it will be to the ASPCA and Make a Wish Foundation. I am not entirely sure how guests feel about this, but it means a lot to FH and I I love the idea...

I love this idea, they give you cute little scrolls to put at each setting to tell guests where you donated and everything, so nice.

nothing wrong. It's always great to donate to a society, especially when so many favors get thrown out, left behind, or sit on someone's shelfs collecting dust
