Let's get REAL organized. . . .

I say let's help each other out by doing a Monthly to do list. When we list so many, some dont need to be done now, and sometimes we lose sight of what should be in priortity order.

So my proposition is we make a monthly to do list.
So this one can be DECEMBER TO DO LIST.
In January, we could start a new thread, and each month a new one, and so on until we reach the final 2 months , and then we should do it in weeks.

What do you all think?
I'll start this off w/my DECEMBER list.

DECEMBER TO DO LIST

OK, my bright idea, let's see what I should do by the end of this month. we only have 2 weeks left.

1. Search VERY hard for a hairstylist that can meet my needs.
2. Get the entire BP dresses ordered.
3. Send out those STD magnets -- what is my problem
4. Bring my MOH to view CB and try on my dress for her (I promised her)
5. Get Len's mom to CWC to pick out and order a dress
6. Review budget. . .
7. Send CB another installment $$$

Geez, Liz I was putting my planning kinda on hold until after the holidays! that is im searching and thinking but not buying!
#1 priority is INVITATIONS! my photographer offers at a 50% off for his brides only.. Ive been thinking and looking for wording, just gotta go look at his books and order something!
maybe I can do this before the end of the month
#1 1/2! is shopping with flower girls (we will make a date when I see them at chrismas!)
But thats january! in the meantime, still need hairpiece and veil (before feb 28th for my trial)
i just dont have the energy to list ALL that remains to be done OH MY, still gotta look at honeymoons!!! perhaps I can get FH to go before the end of the year

Liz it seems you are in good shape! SEND THE STD'S ALREADY.. they are gorgeous, BTW. Did you want to wait until after holidays to send?

No, I wanted to send them out by Thanksgiving, but Len didnt have his list ready, so now, I have the addresses, just sheer laziness has caught up w/me in printing the envelopes on the computer
(especially since Len has not ONCE offered to do them)

Liz, I just ask mike (FI name, btw!) to do things and he's got no problem with it. It took me a while to realize that if you wait for the offer, it doesn't come, but sometimes when you ask it get done quite happily!

I have to agree with Dawn! I kept in all the stress and I finally let it out this week (you girl heard it) once I vocalized it to the involved people most of them told me they were just waiting for me to tell them something to do. FH told me he thought that I had things under control (I am a control freak...yes I admit it!) and that he did not want to get in trouble by screwing something up! NOw everyone is calling me and helping me and I feel a MILLIONNNNNNNN times better.

Let me add again....INVITATIONS....I ALMOST had second thoughts on the ones I fell in love because people on this board told me how inappropriate it is to have a monogram on the invitation but FH said he loves the invitations and to f'em for those who made me feel bad...whoaa......when did this turn to a mini vent...did not mean to be

I just spoke to FMIL - I wanted her to come w/me Sunday to RK Bridal to look for her gown, she says she is busy, plus she works Saturdays - every Sat, so I cant go w/her to Commack Wedding center, where they had so many -- but not open on Sundays.
Will I ever get her to the shop

Debbie- As Jenn said there are people on this board who are just plain DUH!! Some people I don't even look at there posts or their comments. (simply because the things they say make me not like them very much)Go by the people you trust for their opinions!!

debbie, if you and FH love them isn't that all that matter's anyway? Sometimes I get crazy with too much info. I remember seeing a pic of those invitations and liked them.

Almost at the end of December, how are we doing ladies?

I didnt do so well, out of 7 I did 2 things.

1. I got my STD magnets addressed, stamped and sealed. All I have to do is drop them in the mailbox.
2. I sent CB another installment $$$
