Let the harassing begin!!!

Let the harassing begin!!!

We have about 18 invites that are still MIA and our RSVP date was the 11th.

5 are on FH's side
3 are in limbo because we're trying to find them a ride
8 are OOT and probably won't make it anyway
2 are waiting to see if they can get off work

Luckily this is all that we are waiting on right now!!! But it is still frustrating so I have now employed relatives and the bridal party to start harassing people!!

Not too shabby Janna, at least most of them have excuses for not getting back to you!

Btw, I just read a thread on BHB, you and Kevin go to the same dentist!!

HAhaha I'm surprised I haven't run into him there!! Which reminds me, I gotta pay my dental insurance before the end of the month!! (or should I not bother since I will be covered under FH in 2 months?)

I really find this rude Not sure if by 'we' that you mean you and FH or your family

We had a cousin from OOT who wanted FH to drive her from JFK to South Jersey (Exit 5 off the Turnpike) where she is staying with family. It's not the ride that bothered me but that she expected this ride from FH the DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING as if FH would not have other things to do than to take a 5 hour drive from JFK down to South Jersey & back to Long Island to check in to his hotel room She is now coming in a day earlier and has her ride arranged - NOT FH.

Our RSVP date has long since passed (weeks ago) and we are still waiting on at least 14 people. I just put them down as NO and we made the seating arrangements. If they show up, they can deal with the DOC for seating.

Both. We're asking people and family is checking if they can pull it off.

FH said worst case scenario HE would pick them up if no one else would do it. I told him that's BS. Worst case scenario I will tell them to take a train and have someone pick them up from Mineola. They are coming from Bay Ridge, they can take the train to Flatbush and catch the LIRR there.

Does family forget you and FI are the ones getting married and that you are going to be busy with the remaining wedding planning the week of the wedding. I hope that crap doesn't start with me during the week of. I am going to need alot of happy pills to keep me from going over board.

Good luck Janna

You sound like me. I told FH that under no circumstances will he pick up anyone and drive them anywhere the day before the wedding. There are at least 50 other people that she can ride with and then there is the train.

I took the LIRR to a wedding at Fox Hollow when I had no car and then I got a taxi from the station. Why can't other ADULTS do that instead of asking the bride/groom to arrange for rides How rude

For some reason, the closer it gets the more people try to stress out the bride/groom.

We had one guest call FH about not being able to book a room at the hotel. Well, she waited until WEEKS after the RSVP date to book and the invite inserts noted the last day of the discount. She was not blaming FH for it but still, why even mentioned that when it was HER fault
