I met with a baker this weekend b/c I am obsessed with having what is called 'Dominican Cake' at my wedding..It is sort of a tradition and no RH is really going to be able to make an authentic one...
My FH thinks it's silly that I won't just go with the cake that's included in the RH package but whatever...
Here's my dream cake only the background frosting will be tiffany box blue and the lace will be white...

Dominican cake is my FAVORITE!!! My dad had one at his wedding last year... soo good! If my cake wasn't included, I would have definitely gotten a dominican cake!
Im not sure about my cake yet BUT these all look sooo awesome!! I am hungry now hehe

I LOVE dominican cake but my RH wont allow any food from outside vendors. here is a a great dominican baker that u can look into: SUGAR ROOM
I really wanna try dominican cake!! I dont know if you rememebr, but my student, who committed suicide in April, she used to talk about it allllll the time! I really wantto try it... lets make a date to go tasting!!

Yes! There is a baker in the Bronx that is famous for his red velvet cakes but I really don't like his style of decorating... So I don't think I'm going with him. cake man raven

This is my favorite cake too. Ours is provided by thr RH though so I am just going to use one of their standard designs but I think I will upgrade to a red velvet cake.
