I have so many great memories. My parents have a beach house on the Jersey shore and every summer for the entire summer I was there. (Another reason why I want to teach so I can spend my entire summers there!)

Every Sunday we would go to my aunt and uncles for Italian dinner.

Every New Year's Eve we would go to my aunt and uncles. We would play bingo and then at midnight drink Asti lol

This list will just go on!

One is definitely going to my grandmas. She lives right next to her sister (my great aunt) and my brothers and sisters and I would go over every weekend in the summer with my parents and my 2nd cousins (my great aunts grandkids) would be over as well...and my grandma and great aunt shared a backyard. They never fenced it in and they had a huge pool right smack in the middle of the 2 yards. So my brothers and sisters as well as my cousins would play for hours in the sun, pool, swing set. We had sooo much fun!!! We would play dodge ball lol. We would BBQ or eat cold cuts and ice cream...I miss that.

Also....when I was really little like 5-7 yrs old my dad would always play music every sunday morning and clean etc. And my younger sister and I would always be in our PJ's dancing. And when the song 'I had the time of my life' from Dirty Dancing came on. My dad would always stop and dance with us to that song and do the lift with us that Patrick Swazey does with Baby! lol I loved that. I am having that song played at my wedding for my dad! And we HAVE to dance to it haha.

Another fond memory is of my grandpa. If my mom worked late on a Saturday night, I'd sleep at my grandparents house. Sunday morning, at about 6 am, I'd smell bacon and homefries. I would get up and my and grampy would have breakfast together. Then we would go to the den and watch mass on TV. I was really little, but I loved that time with him.

Also, if they were watching me during the week, after dinner, he and I would read the bible together for about an hour each night.

I loved spending time with them. I think that is why I moved into the basement apartment at their house. it has always felt like home!

haha my family is 3 boys and 3 girls as well

and my cousins there are 5 of them live right across the street from my FH/FIL's which is 5 blocks away from me- so we always as kids would hang out going from their house to my house and bike riding and going through the woods in between to scare the crap out of our parents if they couldnt see us haha! but you are right it is definitely chaos when we were all together- especially now since we are older haha

Definatley my grandmother- I miss her...=)

Thanks for this today! It is fun!

My grandmother as well.... going to her house everyweekend when she lived in long beach . she taught me how to sew, to cook , everything .

She taught me so much about how to be grateful for everything you have in life , as she was a child of the depression and had to raise her siblings ( she was the oldest) since her dad died at age 7 and her mom had to work in a factory .

G-d i miss her ....

I was an only child for 8 years, so let me tell you it was great!

Anyway, my parents would both work, so i would stay with my mom's parents. Now my grandmother used to work during the day at a part time job and i would stay with my grandfather (he was a lot older than my grandmother, like 20 years so he was retired) Ok, back to my story, so I would stay with my grandfather and sit on his lap, and for hours i would try to touch his teeth and he would make believe he would bite me... i have no idea how that started, but i just remember sitting there for hours and cracking up!!

Another time i got sick and threw up, and my grandfather cleaned everything up for me and told me that it would be our secret and not to tell my grandmother when she came home from work. Well as soon as my grandmother walked through the door i ran and told her and my grandfather just sat there and laughed....

I miss him... he was an amazing guy...

i know everytime i mention it people look at me like my mother is crazy !! haha and when my mom tells people they ask her did you plan that money lolol or 'they are all your's?!' my mom loves that one haha

Lets see i remember alot of little specific things

I loved going to sunken meadow as a kid. We would go with such a huge group of people and I always loved it. I was an only child but my parents had a big group of friends with lots of kids. They would bbq, play games and then some of us would walk to the beach for a bit.

The day my dad came home with a bunny for me. I was about 3 or 4 and i was so happy, I loved my little bunny haha.

I have to say i was a bit weird with some things as a kid lol, just wanted to say that before i start this memory hahaha. My grandmother lives overseas well shes here now for the wedding but when I was younger she came and stayed with us for a while and took care of me. We would go to church all the time, and she always took me out, walking around everywhere and always doing things. I had this weird obsession as a kid to rip out coupons from the newspapers and magazines and i would make my mom help me cut them out. And for some reason i would take them all with me when I would go out on walks with my grandmother and put them in random peoples mailboxes lol. People probably wondered 'WHY DO I ALWAYS GET 1 COUPON' hahahaha bc many of the people i would do it very often lol.

I loved the block i grew up on when i was a kid, we moved there when i was about 5 or just a little bit younger. There were SO many kids on that block and everyday we would all meet up and hang out all the time and do so many things. We used to play thundercats lol, in the backyard play baseball, kickball and a bunch of other games. No matter what you always had so many kids to play with.
