What does your gown look like? I only think it would be too much if you had a very simple gown. Otherwise, they are gorgeous!

good point - I would like to see yours before I vote. I really don't think it is too much poof but it is borderline. If you had a straight dress or a mermaid style I would say it is too much, otherwise, it will probably be OK.

My gown is strapless with beading along the top neckline and along the drop waist. There are box pleats and it is a VERY full A-line, bordering on Ballgown. It is pretty plain.

Actually - My girls had a VERY similar BM dress and I had VERY form fitting mermaid dress! It looked fine - I never really thought about it when ordering them!

i have seen BM wear dresses similar to that - it doesnt look too much as long as you have a formal dress too.
But i also dont like it when it is similar to teh brides dress - like if you have the exact same style on teh bottom of your dress - i would say no
