How did he propose? At Ruth Chris's took me off guard I thought we were going to dinner with his family.

How long have you been with your FH? 2 1/2 years

How did he propose? March 24, after an amazing dinner, we settled in to watch our favorite shows, and before they started he proposed in our living room with the help of our little love, our dog. It was just perfect.

When and where is your wedding? 7/1/12 at Martha C. Vineyard in Riverhead

What are you most looking forward to about your wedding? Celebrating our love with our friends and family, most live out of town so it's going to be a weekend event.

How long have you been with your FH? 7 years in February.

How did he propose? We were at a wedding in Washington D.C., and he brought me to this restaurant named Acqua al Due. When I was abroad in Italy during college, he visited me, and we went to the same restaurant.

When and where is your wedding? July 29, 2012 in the new Somerly Room at the Fox Hollow.

What are you most looking forward to about your wedding? Walking down the aisle!

I have been on here for a few months but feel like I don't know a lot of you, so here I am


My name is Lindsey and I have been with my FH for almost 2 years.

He proposed by setting up an easter egg hunt in the house that we agreed would be our future house. He woke me up at 8:15 am on Easter morning and I hunted the house for eggs that were filled with jelly beans..Then he told me to find my basket...I finally found it and in the very bottom was my ring!!!

My wedding is July 29, 2012 at The Woodlands in Woodbury!!! AHHHH love my venue!!

I am looking forward to being able to look at my FH and tell/hear our written vows to eachother during our ceremony!!

How did he propose? We were hiking on our favorite mountain and when we got to the top, he got down on one knee! When we got home, he planned a 'surprise birthday' party with friends and family but it was a surprise to everyone we were engaged!

I've been with my FH for about 2 years...he proposed while we were walking on the beach one night after dinner. We are getting married at the Vineyard in Aquebogue on June 30, 2012....and I'm most looking forward to our eyes meeting for the first time as I approach the aisle.

CANNOT WAIT to be his WIFE!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE him!

6 years this December

On our second night in Riviera Maya.Had a dinner planned on the pier over the ocean. While a harp player played the most beautiful music I had ever head, my now fiance walked half way down the pier toward me (I was already sitting waiting for him , tried to through me off by having the woman from the resort walk me down, I had NO idea what was going on!!!!) he signaled for me to come to him, got on one knee :)

How did he propose? We were celebrating our 2 year anniversary in the city and staying overnight. After a fabulous dinner at a French restaurant and seeing 'Promises, Promises' on Broadway we went back to our hotel and as we were getting ready for bed, I saw him approaching me out of the corner of my eye. When I turned around he had the box open in his habd and he said 'I want you to marry me.' I Said yes and started crying then he started crying too.

When and where is your wedding? September 2, 2012 @ Smithtown Landing Country Club.

What are you most looking forward to about your wedding? Celebrating with everyone I love and marrying the one I love with all of my heart.

it was 5 years this past june. our current anniverary is 6/6/06 and our wedding date is 6 years, 6 months and 'almost' 6 days exactly from the day we met. scary.

How did he propose?
after battling testicular cancer, he proposed once he saved up enough money and was able to get back to work. it was just the two of us at home, and he suprised me on a sunday morning.

Black Friday, 2012.

What are you most looking forward to about your wedding?
Walking down the aisle and seeing my husband to be for the first time that day. And the reception in an old mansion.

How did he propose? He took me down by the water in Port Jefferson. We met there on a Friday the 13th-and he proposed on Friday the 13th-May, 2011
When and where is your wedding? July 14th, 2012-my mom's backyard on the Jersey shore.
What are you most looking forward to about your wedding? Well, obviously getting married, but after that..the FOOOD! We are having a lobster/clam bake.

FH and I have known each other for almost 6 years, been together since 12/22/05. He proposed on our 5 year anniversary. He took me out to dinner, then on the way back to my house, he showed me a series of cat pics on his iPhone. They were LOL cats, and the captions related to a man wanting to propose. When I finished looking at the final picture, he was on one knee with a box. I thought he was kidding. Lol

I'm not sure what I'm looking forward to the most, I am just excited
