I'm not going to look until October - 1, because I don't want to lose weight after I look at dresses and worry I would've liked things better thinner lol and 2, my friend is a high-fashion buyer and she said the styles I like (vintage inspired, lace, etc) will be coming out in droves for the Fall bridal collections

I'm an Oct bride also and don't plan to start shopping until about this Oct also. Maybe late summer if I get the itch. I want to loose some weight before I shop plus I don't want to buy a dress too early and then wonder what else is out there. If I bought my dress too early I'd prob so be the type to still look at dresses

I'm starting to look in April. I haven't even started looking in the Magazines too much because I don't know what will look good on me.
All those dresses are beautiful.

Don't worry about what will/won't look good on you. Have fun looking online and in mags. But when you go on your appointments be open to trying on EVERYTHING!

By looking online I can def tell that I like a particular style but I will be open to trying it ALL on to see what works.

I do the same. Or you can go to the website and right click on a pic and click 'copy image location' then come to post a msg and click 'insert image' (button is underneath the smiley's) and paste the link.

I haven't tried on the first one yet, but I did try on the second one. I can't make a decision on what style I want. I am waiting for that 'this is the one' feeling. For those of you who have purchased your dress already, did you have that feeling?

When I went dress shopping there was actually one dress that I really loved in the magazine so I searched to find a store that had it. I tried it on and was like, eh, it's ok. Then I put my dress on and right away I was like this is it.
