Let's Introduce Ourselves

So I will admit I got the idea from the 08ers board but there are so many girls on here posting and we don't know anything about each other (at least us newbies). How about we all write a few lines and introduce ourselves?

Kristina, 27, live in Astoria. FH is from NJ. So far I haven't done much planning other than picking a reception hall and a date but i do love this site! Anything else, just ask :)

Meghan, 27, FH and I live in Bay Shore. I grew up in Bay Shore and FH grew up in NJ. I am currently in my last year of grad school, getting my PhD in Biomedical Engineering.
Halls booked, but I prob won't do much other searching for a little bit.

Colleen, 23, got engaged in July of 09! I grew up in Miller Place, just recently moved to Coram w/ Fh 2 years ago...i work as a pre-k teacher out in wading river, and i got to school at night!

Danielle..im 27..i have lived in seaford my entire life...I work for the family business....construction...im one of the secretaries...I come from a large family..2 sisters and 2 brothers and 6 nieces and nephews and counting!!!

Hi! I am Caroline, but I go by Cari. I am 24 years old and Jason, my fiancee is 25. We live together in Manhattan. I grew up in Woodbury, Long Island and FH is from Monroe, NY. We got engaged on our 3 year anniversary on September 8th. We just booked our hall this week and we are super excited about it.

Hey girlies! My name is Cassie. Not casey but Cassie (Rhymes with Sassy!) I am 24! I grew up in Lindenhurst but moved to Babylon with FH in February (5 months after we started dating!) I work full time for a title insurance company in Melville. and Almost full time at JCPenny in the Bayshore mall.

I'm Michelle, Grew up in West Islip and now live with my Fiance Joe. We got engaged September 1st 07. We have been dating for 8 1/2 years and I have planned almost everything. Hall, DJ, Photographer, Wedding Planner. All I need is the florist and the limos and of course all the little things.

Hi, my name is Christy and I've been addicted to LIW for about 4 months now!!! .

Anyway - everyone calls me Tiny..a nick-name I've had seriously, since I've been born lolz. The only people who call me by my real name are doctors lolz. I'm 22. FHs name is Charlie and he's 25. We've been together 5 1/2 yrs so far and we'll be getting married in 2009. Right now we're still hall hunting, I have vendors in mind for everything else so I hope it'll all just fall into place once I can pick a RH.

Oops forgot to add : I was born and raised in Queens, FH lived in Brooklyn his whole life. Now we're both living together in Queens and hope to buy a home here one day!!

FH's name is nick we live in queens and I LOVE MARISSA who is an 09er even though she isn't getting married in 09 (as of right now.... tilll she finds her prince) and this board is full of great people more than just future brides but ladies who have helped eachother and befriended eachother!!! ... Hi! I'm Kristin, I'm 22, my FH's name is Joe we got on engaged in may on vacation with my family in Punta Cana. I'm a full time student right now and I'm taking 8 classes this semester and one in winter session to graduate early which really really ***** but in the end it'll be worth it. I work part time for a real estate company and I cant wait til I can start to get a full time job.

Hi Everybody!

I'm Cyndy and I'm seem to be the senior citizen of the newbies at 36 My FH is Chris and he's 41. We've been together for 12 years. We decided to make things legal between us Labor Day weekend by running off and eloping, but we had to put things off because on Sept. 5 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 non-Hodgkins lymphoma and I'm going through 4 months of chemo followed by 4 weeks of radiation. So we decided to get married originally on August 15, 2009. But family started pissing us off, so now we booked our elopement for February 16, 2009 on Coki Beach in St. Thomas and then we are going to have a party in March for our family and friends.

I'm a legal secretary and he's a computer engineer.

I grew up in Farmingdale and I've lived in Manhattan and most recently Rego Park, but when I got sick I broke the lease on my apartment to move back home to Farmingdale so my parents could take care of me.

Don't know where FH and me will end up once treatment is over, but we'll probably stay somewhere in the area.

The ladies here are FABULOUS!!!!!

I'm Angela, FH is Mike. We live together in Flushing. We're going to have the most awesome wedding on Halloween and all we've booked so far is our RH (more to come soon though). I'm an ELA teacher in the (self proclaimed) best middle school in Astoria! I love my job and I love planning our wedding.
