If my invites were ready sooner I'd want to send them out- our invite person advised us to wait until after the holiday mail rush...fine with me, I can use the time to decide that last few guest list issues we have!!
Saw my sample CP today- it looks pretty good! I'm going to post it on a new thread but here's a preview (below)
Should have the BM gift back by now and their dresses should be in!
With my final and term paper it's probably a good thing that they aren't ready!!

Meeting with bandleader on Monday.
Meet with florist to do mock-up centerpiece and temple walkthrough.
got my shoes this weekend! one less thing to worry about!!

well i should have gotten my shoes this weekend. my fh was sick so i took care of him. however i saw a sample of my cp from flower michelle. i was sooo excited. as far as reponces go i have about 65 yeses and 0 nos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been getting back lots or responses! So exciting! I am going to try to make it to the flea market this week while my sister is in town to find a headpiece and veil. I need shoes. My first fitting is Jan 5!

I will start the shoe hunt after X-mas/finals...invites have to go out frist week of Jan- my invite person felt that it was best to wait until after the holidays. Makes it easier for me! Still need a veil but that should be taken care of in early Jan...
My BM dresses are running late but we still have time...it'll be 2 months to go soon!!

My bridesmaid dresses are running late also. And I need to send them to 3 of my bridesmaids who live out of state

BM dresses are in. One out of 5 has scheduled a fitting. Two out of 5 are having them done closer to home so I guess that could be 3/5 then.
Meeting with bandleader tonight. Lord give me strength
Waiting on programs until after Christmas.
Flower stuff after New Years.
Veil pick up next week.
My first dress fitting on Jan 3.

I wanted to get mine out about then- it clearly didn't happen! FMIL wants me to wait to sen invites to her guests until after our official engagement ceremony! Not happening- luckily my FBIL and his wife take my side and FMIL listens to them...she's a very nice lady but too hung up on Indian protocol.
ETA-the engagement thing isn't until mid Jan!

Well here's the update:
~Have the invites and getting the guest list finalized (STILL ) to be sent out beginning of Jan ~signed the video contract ~had the big joint family talk to make sure all sides have what they want (mainly, his side- my parents don't have requests beyond what FH and I want- they are so great!)
But the BM dresses still aren't in and neither are my custom hairpins that I need for my trials (all from Macys)! They'd better be in by the 3rd b/c my 2 PA/NJ BM sisters are coming to NY for a meeting with the other BM and we are going to spend the day together before that-I hope to have them get their dresses!
It's been quiet- I'm sure my date twins are further allong than I am by now!!
My invitations have gone out and the responses are already rolling in!
We also picked up our wedding bands.
We still need to pick up the marriage license.
We are meeting with the florist on January 7th.
I need to order more thank yous.
I also need to get working on the out of town bags etc.
We will meet with the caterer about a month in advance (mid-end Jan) as well as the band.

Invites are all out! Most went out first week of Jan!
BM dresses are in and 3 of 8 girls have picked them up. Others are getting fitted at Macys and will go this week.
Got my shoes.
Found a bride cloak at David's Bridal that matches my gown-just have to get money!
My BM put a tiara on my head after I didn't want one and I have since changed my mind-need money for that now too!
Called FH to schedule my menu selection and linens done...
Moving right along!
ETA: have 6 responses too!

I guess all of my fellow Feb '06 ers are too busy to update!! Good luck to everyone!!
I can't even say that I scratched too much off my list- everytime I think we settled something it ends up back on the list with 'adjust' 're-size' 'add-on' etc!! Haven't even booked the HM- and we have 18 days to go! Darn FH always wants to think about it, which I'd agree with if he didn't put this all off until the wedding month! We just ordered my band yesterday and FH ring keeps needing re-sizing!! I hope everyone else is doing better than I am!
