So the time is flying by and I still have much to do!
So far I have: Hall/Temple Rabbi Videographer Dress - but still need alterations Florist Make-up
still working on photography.
Want to get a lot more done by the end of the summer. Going to do hotels, invitations, bridesmaid dresses (although I know what I want), hair etc.
I have def made some headway since my last post...
Photography is completed. I had my first fitting and ordered my invitations yesterday, the bridesmaid dresses are all taking care of,and I have a hair trial appt all booked for the end of the month.
Still have to take care of the hotels, honeymoon, diy projects like decorating my sneakers, making a card box, and baskets.
Here is my update... We had our engagement sitting pics done...just waiting to see them. I have had one disappointing hair trial and booked a couple of more. Hotels have been covered, honeymoon in 90% done. I haven't touched any of my DIY projects listed above. My FH did order his wedding band and I am working on picking one out for myself. Invitations are in and all envelopes have to go to the calligrapher by Thanksgiving! Need to hit the post office to weigh them for postage. Had my first fitting and am just trucking right along :)
I am moving right along....invitations are at the calligrapher and will be going out by mid December. Still need to hit the post office. Am working on my shower thank yous. Still work on hair trials. The DIY projects are still not done. Having my second fitting in the next couple of weeks. We got our engagement pics and are very happy with them. We booked our HM plane tickets and will be wrapping up hotels this week. We ordered our rings. The florist just called today make arrangements to see our CP's. We are having a tasting with the caterer on Dec. 10th. I can't believe how quick the time is going!

We ordered yarmulkes yesterday
I made an appointment for my make up to be done at a MAC counter - FSIL gets it all at half price so she will get it for me and my stylist will put it on for me.
Waiting for FG gifts in the mail.
Visiting dress tomorrow.
Must dye wedding shoes from white to off-white (yes they DO show).
Programs
FH has to do GM gifts - his issue not mine.
Meeting with bandleader in 2 and a half weeks to discuss songs.
Pick up veil at the end of the month.
Mom is buying stamps tomorrow.
Calligraphy is in progress.
Pick up hotel accommodation and place cards from the invitation lady.
Assemble my invites.
Drink heavily.
Ill post as I remember - there is so much more to do.

Should be receiving the invitations this week so hopefully those will be out by next weekend.
Only big things left to do are book a photographer, get our rings and FI has to pick out tuxes.
It just seems like all of a sudden it is very close!!!!!!!
ETA: Oh-and we meet with the hall tomorrow night to finalize the menu, linens, etc.!!!!!
wow! did they call you? fox hollow didn't call me to do this and we are only a day apart. i better call.

i am getting afraid of forgetting something. i need to do hair and makeup trials. get shoes get bm/gm gifts pick music (have dj) start fittings. OMG, i dont' know what else.
OOh, i sent out invites and am starting to get replies. YEH!!!

Hi date twin...Pedestals just called me on having my sample done too! I am so happy that we went with them- they are good so far!
I got my invitations done and ready to be sent! I plan on sending them out on Monday
I am so jealous!
When are you sending yours?
They are at the calligrapher. Then we have to stuff them all. I would say around mid December....I am targeting the 19th.

I am so excited that they called, although I am totally second guessing what kind of flowers I want, lol.
What kind of flowers are you getting? When do you plan on going in?
I am going to call them back today!
I just called to have another sit down with my consultant. I didn't have my BM dress swatch with me at the first one!
Right now, I'm getting Purple stock (little purple flowers-not too many) with Sterling Roses and a little flower that is blue but with touches of purple...the CP will match those- I have smaller purple flowers (forget what they are called) with Sterling roses and ivory...my dress is gold/champagne so it should look pretty good!
My problem is that in certain light the BM dresses look more wine than eggplant (still pretty tho!) So I want to make sure that the blue-ish flowers still look good. Plus, I want to ask them about votives and rose petals for the table and throwing.
I'm going in on Dec 3 to hash it all out!!

I would love to send mine out soon but I can't order them until we decide our ceremony time! Then my friend has to do the calligraphy...I hope to get them out before x-mas! Still debating the guest list too....argh!

I agree, but I don't really have a choice at this point. Can make the calligrapher move any faster, lol.

I went to Westbury Manor last night to finalize the menu!! We picked out our cake and all the linens. It made me realize how quickly Feb is coming and I hope I have enough time left to get things done.
Also, our invitations were delivered yesterday!! So we will get cracking on those this weekend, along with visiting photographers. Next Wed we will go to pick out our rings.

~I ordered my invites (going out in Jan) ~Favors are reserved ~FH will pay the video contract this week ~have my makeup person ~should have the BM hair person-as long as the trial is good ~have my jewlery ~getting e-pics back next week ~have most of the BM gift purchased ~have tux place just have to pick out the style/colors and we basically have that done!
Just have to: ~book hair for mom and I ~veil ~GM favors ~FMIL wants a limo just for the GM-even tho we are seeing each other beforehand and have a limobus- it's silly but she's paying! have to adjust our contract... ~place cards/table numbers (have ideas tho!) ~calligraphy (might have settled tho) ~Passport for me, renewed one for FH ~HM ~place to live
I think that's it! I'm only getting slippers for the BM and a few friends that are attending- I can't afford the slipper basket!
Can't book HM until we know our job situation.
I still feel like I'm forgetting things! How about everyone else?
