Save the Dates (never got them out- too late now!!)

KNOW WHAT GETTING-JUST NEED TO SIGN/BUY-
Video (probably Amore)
Limo (FH going to Royalty showcase tonight- they say they'll give 15% discount tonight too!)
Cute photo gag for place card table (just need FH's kiddie pic)
Favors (probably Love coasters- a little more $$then we wanted to spend tho)
Invites- down to 2!
Makeup trial Monday!
Tuxes- I'm making Fh go to Dante's within a week or two!
Hair pins- custom ones just ordered!

SOME IDEA:
Honeymoon
Veil- going to Tri County Sunday- then decision time!
Rehersal dinner (probably Indian food with 2 trays of Italian food brougt in)
Hair-maybe LIWed vendors? Forget the salons!

NO CLUE/STILL HAVE TO DO:

Passport
Marriage licence (pointless to get it now!)
Slipper basket (FH doesn't want to do this)
BP gifts
Parent gifts? Might not do??
Gifts for each other?
Where to live!

Wow- thought I was further along but the more I make progress the more little things I add to my list!! I feel as though I'm at a good point tho!!

Well...

I have to go visit my dress when I am called (any moment now).

I am waiting for the invites to come back from the calligrapher for assembly.

I must start to drink heavily to numb my brain for a while.

Must go to band leader next month with play list and leave more $$$.

Must do a walk through in the Temple with the florist in January to assure the place is aesthetically pleaseing.

Must finish the monstrosity of a photocube I made.

Oh there are tons of things!

BP jewelry
my jewelry, undergarments

I've only had about four nightmares so far. I feel like I am missing something...

Well...

Ooh, photocube- I've been hearing about those...not that I need another thing on my list to do but what does one look like and where do they usually go?

to do still:

wedding related:
get invites out by end of next weekend
book florist finally next wednesday
go for engagment photos
order rings
meet hall for menu selection
get tuxes
block hotel rooms (should have done this last week)
get video person
decide on ceremony music
decide on vows
order boxes for favors
make tags for them
make photo cube.

Not wedding related:
thursday co-op board meeting
close
start making our place our own and not freek out about money!!!!!! LOL

Well it's better than my non-existant one! At least you are trying!!

Update: FH booked our limo on his own tonight and did pretty well! One more thing down!

I think we'll book the video guy this weekend...

Scheduled our e-pics too...whew!

When do you all plan on going for your fittings? I hate that the holidays are right before the big day. I want to enjoy all the good food!

Anyway-just wondering when you plan on starting your fittings. I only need the top taken in on mine, the length is fine.

gifts for FFIL FMIL and my Father

I just need a bustle and was thinking of having it done in January (hopefully I won't gain or lose any weight)

This is what I have left:

1. Meeting with Florist for the church flowers (I'm using a different florist for the reception)

2. Finishing favors (gonna take me FOREVER because I'm giving away 3 of them -- I'm nutz)

3. Assembling and mailing invitations (going to mail them out after Thanksgiving)

4. Meet with Reception florist to see sample centerpieces

5. Order my jewelry

6. Buy my hair extensions

7. Buy the ushers and best man their gifts

8. Pick out the rehearsal dinner restaurant

9. Make the pew bows (I insist of making my own elaborate bows. I said I was nutz, right?)

10. Buy a crinoline

11. Decorate the slipper baskets and buy pouches to put slippers in (and make the tags, too).

12. Buy another polaroid guest book and the film for the camera

OMG, I didn't realize I had this much to do and I'm almost in single digits!!!!!!!!

I didn't start planning until Sept and ordered my dress first! It won't be in until mid January (possibly earlier) but I'm in school until Dec 23 so I can't start fittings until Jan anyway!

They tell me it's enough time....

The BM dresses are scheduled to arrive in Dec!

Hi date Twin!! You are further than I am so don't worry! You have plenty of time. My invites aren't going out until Mid Dec (I think) FH and I still have to hash out our guest list with his mother (she's giving us a good deal of $$ so they get a lot of say in the guests) *sigh*

As long as my friend has enough time to calligraphy the invites I don't care.

So the time is flying by and I still have much to do!

So far I have:
Hall/Temple
Rabbi
Videographer
Dress - but still need alterations
Florist
Make-up

still working on photography.

Want to get a lot more done by the end of the summer. Going to do hotels, invitations, bridesmaid dresses (although I know what I want), hair etc.

I have def made some headway since my last post...

Photography is completed. I had my first fitting and ordered my invitations yesterday, the bridesmaid dresses are all taking care of,and I have a hair trial appt all booked for the end of the month.

Still have to take care of the hotels, honeymoon, diy projects like decorating my sneakers, making a card box, and baskets.

Here is my update...
We had our engagement sitting pics done...just waiting to see them. I have had one disappointing hair trial and booked a couple of more. Hotels have been covered, honeymoon in 90% done. I haven't touched any of my DIY projects listed above. My FH did order his wedding band and I am working on picking one out for myself. Invitations are in and all envelopes have to go to the calligrapher by Thanksgiving! Need to hit the post office to weigh them for postage. Had my first fitting and am just trucking right along :)

WOW! There are a lot of ppl with Feb 25th dates! Looks like everyone is doing well!! It'll be 3 months to our wedding this Thanksgiving!!

Had our e-pics done the day before T-day.

Booked my makeup person yesterday.

E-mailed the video guy and hope to book him this week.

Picked out my invites but don't know what time to say the ceremony starts!

When I place the invite order I'll order the favors too!

Not too bad....

What about the other Feb brides?

i booked my florist finally

putting together my invites and sending themout this week

had my meeting with the fh on my menu!!!!

getting close girls!!!

my fh also picked out his wedding ring i still have to pick mine didnt find anythign i loved!!

Should be receiving the invitations this week so hopefully those will be out by next weekend.

Only big things left to do are book a photographer, get our rings and FI has to pick out tuxes.

It just seems like all of a sudden it is very close!!!!!!!

ETA: Oh-and we meet with the hall tomorrow night to finalize the menu, linens, etc.!!!!!
