Let's make some extra Wedding Money!!!

As all of us are trying to save for our weddings I had an idea to throw a Gold party. All you have to do is bring your old, broken or unwanted gold or jewlery and to my party and there will be an appraiser there to give you cash ON THE SPOT for your unwanted stuff.

I have found from other parties that they offer more than the flea market will. So it is really a win-win.

I will of course have drinks and snacks and wanted to invite all of you to come and mix and mingle and make some MONEY!

I live in Suffolk County and am thinking of maybe having one in Nassau too at my Aunt's house if she allows. I will know more about the Nassau location soon. I would like to have it around mid to late June. Before I book the appraiser though I want to know if anyone is interested so please let me know!

I LOVE Gold parties..they are such a great idea. I would def. go if I'm available when you have it.

sounds cool! i was recently talking to my mom about this, and I think she would give me some of her things to sell.

I would be i think my mom has gold from years ago that we dont use she does not know if its worth anything I would love to come( Nassau) it also depends on my work I got second job( which i am enjoying) and now work 7 days a week but during the weeknight would work for me.

YES!! I am bound to have some old jewlery laying around from my ex that I can get rid of, maybe even my mother has some too!!

I went to one a few weeks ago and I got $500 for two plain gold chains, a bracelet and a pair of earrings

AWESOME!!! Then I will definatly keep everyone posted on when I am having it. I will do my best tohave one in Nassau also, like I said I just have to check with my Aunt to see if I can use her house. I am sure she would say yes!

Does it have to be gold or would sterling silver and white gold work too? I would DEFINITELY go.

I have/had the most beautiful pair of earrings, white gold, from italy... my mom gave them to me... Well, I got a little drunk at a wedding last year, somehow lost one, and well... I now have one beautiful earring that I am still holding onto for no particular reason other than i know they were expensive!!! lol
