Let's pick out some shoes! UPDATED

What do you think about one of these shoes with this dress? Should I go with gold (inside pleats) or should I do ivory (rest of dress)?

UPDATE: I ordered and finally received #1. Alas, they hurt. And in the meantime I found out that the gold in my dress is not really all that gold. So...back to the drawing board! Thanks for all the responses, though!

I'd advise to get comfortable shoes. That is what my former bride friends have told me.

I agree and I have the first pair in black and they are soooo not comfortable IMO. I wore them to a wedding and by the time I got to the Reception, I was walking barefoot.

i say number one!!!! i'm not a fan of 'bridal' looking shoes, so i'd say go w/gold! and you can always wear them again!

Have you tried them on? I think sling back would be more comfortable (ie.2) but I really like the look of no.1. Ivory!

I did order the shoes (#1) but I am still waiting for them to arrive. In the meantime I received the fabric swatches for my dress in the mail and realized the gold is barely different than ivory. So we'll see what happens!

That dress is amazing!!!! both shoes look good with it! I say sling back if it's a Spring or Summer wedding and the other if it's fall/winter....
