Ok, I will go first...
I am a 4th degree red belt, which is pre-black, in Tae Kwon Do-Korean Martial Arts...I also did tryouts to be part of the US Olympic Team for the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece....

3. i dropped out of college for one year to persue a career as a broadway singer..got something 'off-off' broadway for about seven months, and went back to school (completed on time too) b/c my shopping habits could never be supported by the $$$ made in the arts.
4. I was named as the youngest person (25) to have ever received an AVP title in my field w/in the top 10 Investment Banks in America.

ok..so here is mine..
At the age of 22 I opened my bussines ( european/french/german/polish cosmetics)
When i Was 13yrs old i came to USA from Poland.

I have danced since tha ge of 3=27 years..tap, ballet, jazz. Almost went pro at the age of 17, but suffered a knee injury that prevented it. Almost became a Rockette 2 years ago.

I think the only thing that qualifies the piercing as a talent is the note I reached with my voice as the needle went through.
As for Christine's MENSA membership, I am not shocked in the least. Smart women here!!!!
It could be like circus of the stars. Or in my case, the Jim Rose Circus!

Nothing to exciting or interesting but
Italian was my first language ever spoken, I learned english in school
my first job was at the rectory when I was 13 at the church I got married ...I served meals to the priests all through high school and most of college
I sang in the church's folk group and we performed plays every year for St. Mary's Children's Hospital

I was a competitive roller skater. Just like ice skating, they train roller skaters in all the jumps, spins, etc and there are competitions.
I originally went to school to be an English teacher. The experience gave me great respect for teachers, but it was not for me and I ended up in law school.
I was very shy as a kid (still am in a weird way).
I wanted my eyebrow pierced for the longest time. My boss at that time would have killed me.
I'm too lame and really want something good and scandalous to post here.

Oh man. We have SO much in common.
1. I speak beginners level Cantonese (very tough langugage)
2. I am a member of mensa and scored very high on my SAT's when I was 14.
3. I was an honor thespian in Florida and took singing voice lessons for 10 years. I was an all state finalist and performed at Disney World for 3 years.
4. I am an AVP at my bank and I have worked in the financial industry for 9 years.

Ah you are a better woman than I. The pain was so bad that I would not go back and do the other. Sort of like my hammertoe surgery but not nearly as sexy.

1. I did theater in HS 2. My first career was in media....I wanted to become a TV reporter 3.I interned for WNBC and Hard Copy and was on Hard Copy...they faked an interview with me in Bloomies for Allie McBeal PJs..even though I hated that show 4. I used to teach aerobics...back in college

Lets see - some of this stuff you guys may already know....
- I was a deadhead in High school - I used to also be almost 200 pounds, but then fell in love with working out - I was a fitness instructor for 11 years - I had a breast reduction 10 years ago - I have danced my whole life - I was an amateur competitive ballroom dancer - In college my hair went through every color in the rainbow. I had piercings in my nose, all up my ears, septum and belly button. Never did nips because of the breast reduction, and never got a tattoo, although I still want one. - I used to hang out with squatters on St. Marks place - I was a candy girl at a club - I used to be a big club head in my early 20's, and at various clubs, I:
- danced with Joey Ramone - told Kathleen Turner that I loved her
- I answered a phone sex operator ad, and totally would have done it, but I flaked and missed the interview

threads like this make me realize how boring my life really is.
these things aren't exciting, but i doubt you know them!
*one of my legs is over an inch shorter than the other (try finding shoes ) *i took latin for 8 years *i grew up in a house with 8 cats...and DH is allergic! at least he can't complain about going to the inlaws too much *i can play almost 10 instruments and taught myself the majority of them *i'm a civil war fanatic (DH just can't understand my fascination...i've dragged him through countless cemeteries and battlefields) *i have the uncanny ability to spell just about any word that is thrown at me
probably the most important: *i knew i would marry DH on our first date
