We arent getting china beause my mom is handing hers down to me when we get married. Its not exactly what Id choose - but free so I cant complain. Its white with silver edging and pink and blue flowers around it.
We already have 2 everyday sets plus a christmas set so no more for us!
Okay, b/c we're Kosher, we have two sets of every day dishes. The first set is our meat, the second our dairy. The third is our good china and the fourth is our crystal.
mims! i love your kate spade dragonfly dishes...we wanted those but opted not to do formal china really. and princess rose, we are doing the blue plates too!!!

ME too! Those were my first choice but i opted to go for the less expensive in hopes of actually getting some of my china...lol

My china is from Mikasa, pattern platinum crown Everyday dishes are Noritake Colorwave
My flatware is Yamazaki and my crystal is marquis by Waterford...just regustered for a few to fill out the free stuff we'll get from Sandals
