I have an ice sculpture included in my package. Do you have it on your contract?

Re: Lets start a Leonards of Great Neck Thread

I honestly don't know and normally wouldn't have wanted one anyway, so it wasn't something I was thinking about when we booked.

I'll have to call to see.

Re: Lets start a Leonards of Great Neck Thread

I am not sure if it is included I remember we had asked how much cheaper it would be if we took it out and we were told not to worry they were throwing it in for free.

Re: Lets start a Leonards of Great Neck Thread

Does anyone know the names of the parks in the area?

I know there is one, right behind macy's that looks gorgeous.

Also, is there such a park called

Duck Park

to book or not to book

I just went to Leonards today, and am seriously considering booking it - it's gorgeous!

We dealt with Tracy - she seemed nice overall, but when we asked for things like if we can upgrade the food if we do not get a minimum number of people for our room, she said no. She didn't seem to be that accommodating overall. Anyone deal with her or any of these issues?

She offered us the Empire room, with a minimum of 80 people. The room was nice, but I didn't get a chance to look at it because there was another party going on. We want a large dance floor and were interested in the Continental room - does anyone know what the minimum there is? What about the Holiday Parisian?

Also, I am a little worried about the reception food. The Renaissance Reception is really plain, but at least we can add extras to it. The main dinner however, is one salad, one appetizer, and 1 entree choice - anyone else thinks it's too little?

I really want to book the place for my wedding but am worried about the food (My guests are really food spoiled.)

Re: Lets start a Leonards of Great Neck Thread

The continental room minimum is 120. I am not sure if I am upgrading or adding on food, just yet. I don't have to much time, but I am also worried, that it may not be enough food.

I think it is absolutely gorgeous...and clean. I love it, and I have never second guess it from the day that i booked.

Re: Lets start a Leonards of Great Neck Thread

I added a few courses to mine and gave the 5 choices. I am also concerned about the choices for the coctail hour. There are some additions I want that I did not see on there and was wondering if anyone knew how that worked. (adding things not listed on the initial pamphlet. ) Thank You!
