Those of you that have gone to your final meeting...do they give you placecards and direction cards? How do they look?

Yes. But you can pass by at anytime and ask for them. I got them at a food tasting in June ~ final mtg was last Tues.
The placecards are plain, and say Leonard's on the back. The direction cards are on white stock, with green font/pictures - two-sided.

Another one for ya...I guess the placecards would need to be handwritten then? I coouldn't put them in the comp?

ETA: I didn't go for my tasting yet..do they have them often? I guess I should call to schedule

Honestly, I doubt it. They are so small - I would say maybe 4x4 in size. Though, it might be possible that, but it would be a difficult task.

ETA: They do tastings 1-2 times a month. They just had one on the 17th (I went). I asked when the next one would be, and they said next month. Date: TBD.

I just called Leonards to find out about tastings and the 2 they have scheduled for this month are on saturdays at 2 in the afternoon! They don't schedule Sep until the end of the month.

FH cannot go to a Saturday, he is already taking off 2 saturdays for pre-cana.

How far in advance do they do the final menu?

to the CH, we only added the Mexican Table, I thought it would be fun to let people try different kinds of foods (but didnt want to add more because I think they have plenty of food as it is)... and we have the 6 choices for the sit-down dinner plus the viennese (sp?) hour...

Nope, i don't know... but I know it's sometime in August. My guess is the 14th or 21st. The shower invitation was sent almost 2 weeks ago, and nothing's happened to the registry yet. :(

A lot of people wait until the last minute. I would say in a week things should start disappearing.
