So, I'm going to be getting ready in my apartment on my wedding day.
It's pretty nice, Not spectacular (hey why renovate when you dont own the place)-but tell me what can add to the apartment as in lighting and stuff. I was thinking about lighting candles, opening the curtains....I have no idea. The last thing I want to do is paint my living room or bedroom a few weeks before the wedding.
thoughts? Suggestions? Anyone else in the same predicament? What are you doing to add to the pics at home?

Im gonna be at my moms the morning of but one of the photogs is going to be coming to my house to take pics of Eric. So far we've painted the walls and put tiles down in the kitchen and dining room. Im also going to power wash the outside of the house and the deck in the back when school is over. These are all things that needed to get done so we decided to do it now so our house will look better in pics.

I bought some mirror embellishment jammies at Target to go over my bed. They look good actually!

Those are so pretty! I got sooooo many picture frames at my shower so I might hang some of them in the bedroom. Right now we have nothing hanging on the walls in there for some reason

Yeah they were a total pita though to hang up. Plus I got fingerprints on them haha!

Invest in a nice bed spread /duvet cover and some nice throw pillows ( Marshalls always has great sales)
This will make a great back drop for the photo's of you on the bed.
Also the bride by the window is a must have pic ... you may want to be sure your window treatments are clean and fresh or buy some inexpensive new ones.
Also dont forget to straighten up LOL ....last thing you want is you all fab in your gown and Fh's socks on the floor in the back ground

I actually have the house very clean, it's just that I havent put a lot of money into it because we dont own it.
I bought a new sectional last year and i think most of us will fit. But we'll see

I will be cleaning the place the week of... and then I will just do my usual lighting of oh about 300 candles!!! Seriously, I am a candle freak and plan on lighting all of them!!! I hope the place looks nice in the pictures.
Do you think it would be strange if I asked the photographer to snap a pic of my cats? I'd LOVE for them to have at least 1 professional pic in their life.... they are sooo pretty!!!!

LOL you are the bride silly! and you are paying him if you want pro cats pics You shall have them LOL ..i think it is cute actually ...maybe he can snap a pic of the cat next to your shoes or something ...how cute would that be!

Wow you ladies think of everything! I currently have a treadmill in my living along with a 6 pack of baseboard and 2 laundry baskets full of clothes that we're getting rid of. The kitchen table is monopolized by my work in progress centerpieces. I KNOW my house will be a day of disaster and hey I had my hair trial in my living room a few weeks ago. I kind of want to capture the craziness but I think it's awesome that you're planning all of this now!

I'm getting ready in my mom's room since my room is smaller than hers. She bought new vertical blinds(you can get beautiful shades), she's going to have the floor sanded down and polished so it looks fresh and getting a new bedroom set since hers is a bit dated and of course have a beautiful bedspread.
