FI and I were discussing this last night. We both don't know where to go. Not looking for someplace far. We are not really plane people. Where is everyone going??

We really want to do Hawaii but it's too much $$, we might do Sandals St. Lucia instead.

You can take a cruise to the Caribbean or the Bahamas or Bermuda from NYC. No flying involved and cruising is FUN!!!

We're going to Excellence Resort Playa Mujeres. It's basically Cancun. We didn't want to go far either and it's a 4 or 5 star all inclusive resort. Rooms look awesome and heard good reviews on it.

we're thinking morocco & portugal/spain or the galapagos islands.

if you don't like flying, why not try something in canada. i know it doesnt sound so romantic, but some parts of canada are absolutely beautiful and very relaxing.

also, puerto rico isn't that far of a flight, either is the dominican republic. both are about 3 1/2 hours from jfk.
or you could try the florida keys?
