I have so much planning to do for the actual wedding but all I can think about is the freaking honeymoon.!!!!!!! Really, I spend my days surfing the web for honeymoon deals rather than focusing on things i should be focusing on . . . like flowers or bridesmaid's dresses or something.
Anyway, the Honeymoon board doesn't get much action so I figured I would post here.
Where's everyone going and why did you pick that location?

Hi We are going to Sandals in St. Lucia I had been to Sandals Montego bay before and I love the fact that everything is paid for. You never have to worry about carrying a bag or a wallet. St. Lucia Grande is the one we are staying at and there are another 2 on the island, so you stay at 1 play at 3. They have shuttle busses going to the other Sandals resorts and still, no cash! 3 different beaches, and all the different restaurants...I cant wait!

we are doing 2 weeks in Hawaii...I've been there before, but FH hasn't, and we wanted to go somewhere far away that we would both love.
We are going to Disney for a week, and then Clearwater Beach for a week. We were originally gonna go to Sandals in St Lucia, but we are both the 'non stop' kinda people . So we decided to go to Disney, we have never gone together, and we are gonna stay at the Polynesian. I can't wait!!

Hey Toots, we are date twins!! Well I haven't really looked into honeymoon planning yet but I definitely want to go to a nice relaxing island with beautiful clear blue beaches. I am hoping to find an all-inclusive that hopefully offers a room/suite with a private pool. can't wait

We're going to Hawaii for 10 nights We picked Hawaii because we figured it's one of the top romantic honeymoon locations and from the pictures we've seen it's gorgeous!

We're doing Italy. It's a long story, but I'll try to summarize.
We wanted to do Costa Rica, but were worried about chancing it with the rainy season. Then we figured we could go away for a few days after the wedding and do 2 weeks in Costa Rica in December. We started throwing around Napa Valley, Vermont and then Italy for a few days after the wedding and then realized, what better way to splurge and get to see a lot than to go to Italy for 2 weeks for the honeymoon?! We're still going to do CR, but in '08 some time for a week.
Anyway, the plan is 2 days in Venice, 3 days in Tuscany, 2 days in Rome, 5 days on the Amalfi Coast.

Ours either. I monitor the flight prices on a weekly basis, I'm such a nerd! But I love planning vacations.
I've heard GREAT things about Positano. You're going to have a great time.

we choose belize b.c its something different. I feel like everyone does Hawaii or Sandals (JMHO, no offense). It has the 2nd largest coral reef in the country and you can get alot for your money! I wanted to go before it gets touristy

Jamaica....
Sunset at the Palms Resort.... rated the best hotel in all of Jamaica. Also received awards from Architectural Digest... it looks amazing.
We booked it because we wanted somewhere tropical (we're getting married in February) and we wanted an all-inclusive. We also got a great deal!

We are going to Tahiti, 4 nights in Moorea and 5 nights in Bora Bora. We wanted to do something that would be once in a lifetime. FI will never get on a plane again for 12 hours.
