What would you wear with a strapless dress... I can't decide. I love post earrings, but its my wedding day, should I jazz it up a little and break out the bling?
I also love necklaces, but I keep hearing, 'no necklaces they take away from the bride's face'.
As of now, I think I'll wear my hair half up half down or all up in a wavy loose bun.
I think either something delicate, like the picture above. Alternatively, I intend to do something simple like pearls.... My dress is similar to yours... it has 'built-in bling' around the top....

Are you wearing a Tiara also? That is another reason why I was not going for a necklace, my dress has so much work on top and I am wearing a blingy tiara. IMO, on me it was too much.

I also have a strapless and decided not to go too blingy w' the necklace so i chose this
i'm wearing that exact same necklace with matching earrings--not too 'blingy'...very elegant with my strapless scalloped sweetheart neckline!
you can wear a pretty necklace with a strapless dress--it just depends on how it looks with your gown
as for earrings...i think that can depend on your hair style that day as welll as your head piece

No Tiara, I am such a klutz, it will end up in someone's dinner plate!!!! Maybe like one of those simple flat head bands, but nothing high and nothing too ornate.

im also a strapless girl and will be wearing white pearls with white drop earrings. I love how the necklace looks with strapless dress and dont think that it takes away from the face at all aslong as its not overwhelming.

I say blingy earrins and a bracelet, I do agree that a necklace would take away from you
I agree that bigger earrings and a bracelet would work best with your dress. The bodice has enough bling already - you don't want to overdo it with a necklace... Beautiful dress btw!

You can always go with a very fine, simple and elegant necklace.

Re: Lets talk jewels...
i am wearning a strapless gown, a tiara and a blinged out necklace....my dress is not overly sparkly, so I'll see when I put everything together, but I think it will look good

IMO I would go w/ the dramatic earings and no necklace. I am also doing a strapless gown and plan on doing the same as far as jewels.

I am also wearing a strapless dress (something similar to yours) and I am going to try to find chandelier (sp?) earrings, a simple necklace and a bracelet. I want to have something on my neck but nothing too crazy that it will take away from the dress.

IMO and I am a strapless bride as well, I would go with dangling blingy earrings and a bracelet, no necklace
I agree because you have all that detail at the top of the gown.
