Let's talk seriously about...

Original post by Misty

...flabby arms, freckles, and strapless dresses. I'm freaking out that I'm gonna look horrible!

I've been doing arm excercises, and have no visible results yet, anyone have any advice? And my arms have freckles, I soooo wish I had the clean smooth arm look. Just shy of hitting the dermablend counter...what to do?

Thanks. Not some of my better pics but I think they show what you meant. I happen to think the freckles are part of my personality. My back has more than the front. Matt thinks they are cute

The waterfall veil very important!!! Oh here is a little tip. You know that little bit of fat that you get when you wear a strapless (unless you are a twig) make sure it is always 'tucked in' When you are posing for pics just be sure your dress is straight across and the fat isn't hanging over. I wish someone had told me BEFORE the wedding.

Good Luck!!

I like my freckles, I liked them better when they were on my face though! It's amazing, they just ,moved all over my arms when I turned 21 for some reason. LOL.

I got a waterfall veil also...fingertip length. And I'm going for a bra fitting this weekend..I'm hoping to get the body armor kind that shoves them DOWN AND IN! Do they make that?

They make everyhting. Just remember that you have to wear it all day and sometimes they make the little excess a girl might have seep out the top creating more 'skin' at the top of the dress. Oh and be careful how it looks under your dress and that it doesn't flatten out the chest. I had all of these problems. What I should have worn was a waist cincher and either had cups sewn in or a strapless bra. Fredricks of holly wood makes good waist cinchers. This way if it pushes a little over the top it will be covered by the dress!

Hope this makes sense. Let me know if you have ?'s

I have a problem with my arms and have been doing arms exercises using weights for a month now and have been seeing results. I keep telling myself no pain no gain!!

Also Crisco had a good suggestion before where she said to work out the day before or a few hours before so that your arms looks defined. am defintly going to do that!!

do push ups before.. you won't need to do curls...

also, there are ways of standing that will minimize the appearance of your arms.. use baby oil to make it shiny.. sometimes the oil will even give you definition when you don't have any..l and make sure you keep your back straight and arms at your side when you pose...practice at home..

OH!! I forgot to add.. in order to get rid of that flabbiness, you need to work out your tris.. that is VERY important!
